We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.
Simi Elliott Simi Elliott 6'1" | MB Tompkins | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-1 Middle (HS: Tompkins/Club: Absolute Volleyball Academy/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Miss Elliott to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 92nd best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Tompkins High School and will play club for the AVA volleyball club. Simi has been out watch list for a while now and every scout agreed that she has proven herself enough to be listed as a top Texas player. Her play at the net was stellar this past club season. As a blocker she gets well above the net and presses over to thwart any attack. She uses her long arms to seal the net very well away from any would be point scorer. As an attacker, her cut shots are lethal to say the least. I hope the defenders are ready behind the block because there are very few opposing middles who are going to be able to stop Miss Elliot from scoring. She has earned this placement and we are very proud to have her ranked. Please help us congratulate her on the honor of being listed amongst the state’s best players.
Kylee McCoy Kylee McCoy 6'1" | MB Royse City | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-2 Middle/Outside (HS: Royse City/Club: Madfrog /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss McCoy to the prestigious State Rankings. Kylee is currently ranked as the 96th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Royce City High School and also for the nationally recognized Madfrog volleyball club. Miss McCoy primarily plays middle during the club season and does it at the Open level for her amazing club squad. During the school season, she transfers to the pins and does a solid job for her high school team. Being the primary point scorer is difficult because it puts a lot of pressure on the mental side of the athlete. However, Kylee relishes in the moment and lights a fire under her team as she celebrates kill after kill. Since she is so dynamic at both positions throughout the entire year, it was a no brainer to add her to the rankings. We will be watching her very closely this year and are proud to have her listed. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our prestigious State Ranking List.
Carly Paugh Carly Paugh 6'2" | MB Willis | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-1 Middle (HS: Willis/Club: Houston Skyline/ Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Paugh officially to the State Rankings. Carly is currently ranked as the 98th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Willis High School and also for the nationally ranked Houston Skyline volleyball club. One aspect that truly stands out in her play is just how strong her upper body is. She provides a great big target for her setters to deliver quick sets to. I also love how she is on time for a perfect zero tempo set in front of the setter. She is in the air before the ball is being contacted a lot and that will equate to many scores out of the middle. She very rarely hits the ball to zone six, which tells me that she understands cut shot principles very well and listens to her trainers. We have had her in our watch list for a while and this year she proved herself with her play. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas.
