Continue ReadingThe State Rankings update is here!!! The upward movement of some of the top 140 players is something we are proud of. We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings due to their individual performances.
Suli Davis Suli Davis 6'1" | OH Colleyville Heritage | 2025 State #9 Nation TX [2025] 6-1 Outside (HS: Colleyville Heritage/Club: Texas Advantage /Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are proud to announce that Miss Davis has moved up a spot in the rankings. Even though it is only one spot, because it is at the top of the list, it is a big spot to move into. Suli is now currently ranked as the 2nd best overall prospect according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays at Colleyville Heritage High School and also for the nationally ranked Texas Advantage Volleyball program. We have covered her quite a bit over the past couple of years but every adjective used on her play is totally warranted. Here is a little bit from the last article I wrote about her, “While many of us said that she was a player to watch before the tourney started, only she could control her output on the court. And boy did she put on a solid show against some amazing competition. Her star-studded team did extremely well capturing second place overall securing a bid to USAV Junior Nationals and she was one of the main reasons why. Her golden right arm and superb defense out of the back row was on full display when the going got tough in crucial must win matches to advance to day three. It is so much fun to watch her on the court as she is a star amongst stars.” Recently she helped the USA U19 National Team win a gold medal at the World Championships. Her star is definitely on the rise and we are very proud to have her in our rankings. Please help us congratulate her on earning the this prestigious spot amongst Texas’ best players.
Samara Coleman Samara Coleman 6'0" | OH Grand Oaks | 2025 State #74 Nation TX [2025] 5-11 Outside (HS: Grand Oaks/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: University of Pittsburgh)
Miss Coleman has made a huge jump in our rankings by proving herself on the court. Samara is now currently ranked as the 8th best overall player in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She stars for Grand Oaks high school and also plays for the nationally recognized Houston Skyline volleyball program. Here is a little refresher of some words already written about her this past year, “Many wish to fly amongst the birds and soar over everyone. Samara gets to do this every time she steps foot on the volleyball court. Her greatness was on full display during both the positional drills and the competitive scrimmage drills. She was by far the best attacker for the entire session in the gym. To have someone who can literally score from every location on the court and have the hang time that she possesses is truly a Game Changer for any team. It is this reason that she has earned that moniker from us for this Expo. It was very difficult for any blocker to slow her down as they were usually on their way down while she was hitting her peak. No one was able to match up with her as she rose up so effortlessly to attack.” Now this is no secret as anyone who has watched her compete will be able to see how explosive she is in her position. Her play this past club season showed me that we should put her amongst the best of the best. She did all of this playing up an age group, which was extremely impressive. Recently she also made her verbal commitment to play at the University of Pittsburgh in a few years. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot in the top eight players in the entire state.
Nekhaela Rogers Nekhaela Rogers 6'0" | MB Centennial | 2025 State #145 Nation TX [2025] 6-1 Middle (HS: Centennial/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are very proud to announce that Miss Rogers has moved up the rankings in this update. Nekhaela went from being ranked as the 34th best overall prospect to now being listed as the 16th best overall prospect and second best middle in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Centennial High School and also club for the nationally recognized Dallas Skyline program. I wrote an article last month on her play during one of our showcases where we saw her up close on the court. Here is a little refresher of what I wrote, “Miss Rogers was an absolute beast at the net defensively. There were many hitters who were very frustrated because her blocking was on another level. I watched many rallies in which she blocked multiple hitters in a row. It was such a fun sight to see. The Great Wall of China has nothing on what she showed at the net. Offensively she can be characterized as a big gun who can run every route in the middle route tree. She presents a huge target for any setter and was always on time for a very fast tempo. I guarantee when you watch her play, you will see the high-flying and hard-hitting beast I saw. If you have not seen her play, I strongly encourage every scout in America to take a look. You will not be disappointed in what you see. Please help us congratulate her on earning the Game Changer award.“ Because we were able to see her progress right in front of our eyes and work with her on drills and scrimmages, it was a no brainer to move her up in the rankings. Please help us congratulate her on the honor of being listed as the number 18th best player in Texas.
