We have been watching the 2026 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings due to their individual performances.
Halle Thompson Halle Thompson 6'1" | OH Grand Oaks | 2026 State TX [2026] 6-1 Outside (HS: Grand Oaks/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Halle has moved up in our Rankings. She is now currently ranked as the best overall prospect in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Grand Oaks High School and also for the Houston Skyline volleyball club. Here is a little refresher of what I wrote about her in the past, “Halle has everything you want in an outside hitter as she is an all around player who has very few weaknesses. She is a true six-rotation player who is as dominant in the back row as she is in the front row. She can hurt you from every location on the court. Having her be able to pass and dig in the back row is super special due to how scary her offensive game is from the attack line. Her squad can run her in play sets and add a fourth dangerous option to score with. Due to her length and amazing athleticism, her team is always a threat because of her ability to dig the ball at a very high level. She has supreme ball control and very good body control when digging laterally outside of her wingspan. She is able to push off well and extend that defensive range well beyond the normal back row player. If anyone can take over the number one position in our rankings for this grad class in the future is it Miss Thompson.” Well this didn’t take long at all. We are very proud to have her listed as the top prospect in the grad class and it is totally warranted. Her overall game is the main reason why she overtook the top spot. She is lethal from all over the court and can change a game on both the offensive and defensive end. Any coach who are going against her squad will have to account where she is at all times. Although there are tons of players who have votes for the top spot, in my expert opinion, no one has their name at the top of the list in every aspect of the game. Please help us congratulate her on earning the top spot in our prestigious State Rankings List.
Keoni Williams Keoni Williams 6'4" | MB Boswell | 2026 State TX [2026] 6-2 Middle (HS: Boswell/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Keoni has moved up in this update. She is now currently ranked as the 4th best overall prospect and top middle in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. Miss Williams plays at Boswell High School and also for the amazing Dallas Skyline club program. Here is a refresher of what I wrote about her earlier this year, “This class is littered with solid middles who can fly, but Keoni is making a huge push for tops of the list in the position with what I saw at the Tour. Her armpits were at the top of the tape of the net when she was blocking and put everyone on notice. She had tremendous power on quick attacks but I was even more impressed when her squad ran her on a high tempo route out of serve receive. Not many players can change tempo mid-game so easily but Miss Williams was able to and it helped her team score when they needed a lift. I also loved how she added some serious pop with a very fast wrist snap on the ball. Her potential is sky high like her vertical and we think every recruiter should have her name down on their list.” I watched her blossom over the course of the club season and she was absolutely dominant. This is why she was just named as the Most Valuable Player in the Open Level of the USA Volleyball Junior National Championships this summer in Chicago. Against the best of the best, her play was at an all time high and helped her squad win the Open National Championship. Her play is why she was moved up so far in the rankings. Please help us congratulate her on being named the best middle in her grad class.
Riley Malloy Riley Malloy 6'5" | OH Austin | 2026 State TX [2026] 6-4 Outside (HS: Austin/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
We are very proud to announce that Miss Malloy has moved up the rankings in this update. Riley is now being listed as the 8th best overall prospect and 4th best outside in the 2026 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Austin High School and also club for the nationally recognized Austin Skyline program. I have been luck enough to watch this young lady in person all year long in four major national club tournaments and she was very consistent and explosive. Her size, strength, and speed on the court are all at an elite level. This young lady can hang with any player in the country no matter what age they are. Last season as a freshman on varsity, she was one of the kill leaders in her grad class and it wouldn’t surprise me if this year she is at the top of every statistical category there is. After watching her help lead her fantastic team to be quadruple qualified in the Open division of USA Junior Nationals, it was a no brainer to move her up so far on the rankings. She has every opportunity to keep moving in the next few updates also. Her overall level of play in every aspect of the game is astounding and she will have her pick of any college program she wants in the next few years. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the top eight players in the state of Texas.
