We are still hard at work identifying players who were good in 2022 that we expect to be really good or great in 2023. We decided to look across the state in Kansas 4A to see which players are on the brink of breakout seasons in their team's offensive system. Here are the players we think fit that bill.

[player_tooltip player_id='489665' first='Charli' last='Richardson'] - 2026 - Mulvane

Richardson did some setting and hitting in her first season. If that was any sign of what is to come, expect more of her this year. She should do better on her 351 assists from a season ago.

Callie Noland - 2026 - Clearwater

Noland showed she can have a bright future as a setter with hard work and court time. She only played in 37 sets and averaged almost six assists per set. With a full season, expect her to blossom.

[player_tooltip player_id='643696' first='Kaysin' last='Crusinberry'] - 2025 - Iola

A good sophomore season for Iola, Crusinberry averaged over five assists per set. She has been on par her first two seasons so expect a bigger junior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='697325' first='Ryann' last='Eastes'] - 2025 - Pratt

349 assists dished out by Eastes in 87 sets in 2022. Look for an increase in those numbers this fall.

Nora Allphin - 2025 - Hayden (Topeka)

Rounding out our group is the Topeka native, Allphin. She had 255 assists as a sophomore. We look forward to seeing if her play and numbers will be stronger in 2023.
