[player_tooltip player_id='124225' first='Sammi' last='Bergjans'] – 5'9” – Incarnate Word Academy

The kid plays passionately and isn't afraid to express her emotions on the court. I love her competitive fire on the court. Sammi is a player that wants to win every single point and led the state in assists last year. The Mercer Bears have a great talent heading their way next year, and she has one final year to give the Word its 12th overall state championship.

[player_tooltip player_id='124219' first='Alyssa' last='Nelson'] – 5'6” – Lafayette

If you can win the starting setter spot as a sophomore and then lead your team to its 7th state championship in Missouri's largest class last year as a junior, then you have to be one of the best setters in the state. Alyssa has many offensive options to feed and does an outstanding job keeping a defense honest. She will go down as one of the best setters from powerhouse Lafayette.

Breckyn Koeller – 5'3” – Hermann

In her first year as a starter for the tradition-rich Bearcats, Koeller would rack up 1194 assists and help guide her team to a Class 2 runner-up finish. Breckyn isn't a tall or flashy setter, but she's the quiet and steady distributor. She will need a tremendous season to help get Hermann back to the final four and try and win a state-leading 16th state title.

[player_tooltip player_id='194099' first='Taylor' last='Reynolds'] – 5'7” – Nerinx Hall

A go-getter for the Markers walked onto the court and took control of the offense and a high-powered offense. She gives her team a rugged defender, an intelligent decision-maker, and a never quit attitude. Taylor will again be the quarterback and try to get the Markers back into the state playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='150039' first='Claire' last='Fulton'] – 5'11” – Visitation Academy

Fulton gives her Vivette's a huge advantage at the net with her ability to provide a solid blocking setter. She's offensive-minded with a high volleyball IQ and a remarkable ability to use her dump to catch the defense on their heels.
