I love this time in the rankings cycle, where there seem to be stock risers and emerging athletes at every turn. As sophomores, this class is starting to have a bigger impact on the high school game and it is fun to see these athletes step up in a big way.
Here are the stock risers in the class of 2026 rankings update!
Allie moved in the ranking from 3rd to 2nd. She was so impressive at the 16 Open level throughout the club season and really developed her skills in the middle and on the right side. Her defense has also improved. Allie’s blocking is consistent and massive. She has a significant impact on every rotation she is in and has proven time and time again that she can elevate her game and compete with the best in the country.
Sari has established herself as one of the top athletes in this class. She is an offensive weapon as well as one of the most talented setters in the state. Sari’s court awareness and high volleyball IQ have been crucial to her continued success, and she never seems to miss a beat on the court. Sari was named to the All-Tournament Team in the American Division of USAV Nationals, competed with the Badger Region High-Performance Team, and is simply a dominant athlete in all aspects of the sport. She moved from 6th to 5th in the rankings update.
Highlights
Anabelle is quickly rising in the ranks in the class of 2026. She is a setter with a quick touch on the ball and is incredibly efficient on the court. She can consistently jump set from nearly anywhere on the court and is very aggressive with the tempo and decisions of her sets. Anabelle played on the Badger Region High-Performance team at the USA All-Star Championships and had a great club season as well. She was a stand-out player at our Stock Up Showcase this summer and is an athlete to watch in this class. She moved from 10th to 9th in the rankings.
Highlights
Addie jumped from 13th to 10th in the rankings. She is a dynamite athlete who can set and swing. She is explosive in everything she does and has a powerhouse swing. Her setting is consistent and smart and she keeps every hitter involved. Every touch she has on the ball is clean and efficient. She is an all-around player who has emerged in this class as a very high-level athlete.
Highlights
Don’t forget Sydnee’s name in this class. She moved up from 16th to 11th in the class but is quickly establishing herself as one of the top pins in the state. She is explosive, consistent, and has pinpoint accuracy. Sydnee is an all-around athlete who dominates in all her skills and elevates the game of those around her. Her serve receive is consistent and clean, and she transitions to offense seamlessly. Sydnee is an impact player and an athlete on the rise.
Mia stepped up in a huge way at USAV Nationals. She was a key offensive weapon in Sting 15 Golds National Championship title and was earning kills against some of the top defenses in the country. Mia is explosive and willing to take risks on her swings in order to terminate the ball. She is very competitive and always looking to elevate her game. Mia has been an impressive athlete since she exploded onto our radar as a freshman last year; however, her performance at nationals really raised her stock and caught the eye of a lot of people. She jumped from 22nd to 14th in the class.
Highlights
Mia is another talented athlete who has been very impressive. She can play all six rotations and has awesome court awareness. She can pick apart opposing defenses with her swings and is a stellar defender. Her serve receive is very consistent, and she has a clean contact on the ball. Mia is an energizer on the court; whether she is making big digs or terminating on offense, Mia is an impact player. She jumped from 26th to 24th in the rankings.
