Sydnee has to be one of the most frustrating pins to play against in this class. She is a high-flying pin who is savvy throughout matches. She has fantastic court awareness and can take swings based on how she sees the defense moving. Her hard cross shot is consistent and nearly impossible to defend. No matter where she is on the court or if the set is in or out of system, Sydnee seems to know exactly how to make the ball hit the ground on the opposite side of the net.

Sydnee Nelson Sydnee Nelson 5'11" | OH Oshkosh West | 2026 State WI had quite the 2024 where she was a 100 meter hurdle state champion for Oshkosh West and finished up with a commitment to Belmont. What is unique about Nelson’s game is her leaping ability. She is a high flying outside hitter who can score points from the front and backrow. She had a huge high school season for Oshkosh West where they won a regional title. She will play for FC Elite 18 Elite this club season.

Sydnee is one of the top pin hitters in her class. And she showed exactly why in the regional final, where Sydnee had 19 kills in Oshkosh West’s upset over Neenah. Sydnee hit 0.340, contributed 13 digs, and averaged 4.5 service receptions per set. She is an all-around impact player for her team, who will go head-to-head with Slinger on Thursday.

She is a six rotation outside hitter for FC Elite 16 Navy who will also be at Triple Crown this weekend. There is a great foundation of all around skills and playing at a high level will continue to elevate her game. She is one to have on the radar early. With her leaping ability, she is going to standout on the court and has great potential.

Her serve receive is consistent and clean, and she transitions to offense seamlessly. Sydnee is an impact player and an athlete on the rise.
