Katy has been consistent and competitive all club season. She is confident in the back row and is a leader for her team. Whether she is in the left or middle back, you can expect clean and consistent defense and serve receive. Katy’s court awareness and reading abilities have improved as she continues to play at a high level. She jumped from 67th to 57th in the rankings.
Amara exploded onto my radar this season. She was unstoppable tournament after tournament and went head to head with some of the top middles in the state and region and came out on top. She is a dominant presence on the court on both offense and defense with her block. She gets closed on the vast majority of blocks and works hard every point she is on the court. She improved from 70th to 60th in the rankings.
Charlette is an athlete who is always working and improving her game. I love how she feeds her hitters and spreads her offense. She played at our USAV Nationals Showcase, the Prep Dig Sizzle, and the Stock Up Showcase in quick succession, so I saw her play numerous times in different settings. Yet, she was always consistent and found ways to get her hands on the ball and put up a clean set. Charlette jumped in the rankings from 76th to 66th.
Highlights
Ellie is a gritty libero who sets a high standard on the court. She was a leader on Sting 16 White, who took 3rd in the Liberty Division at nationals and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Ellie covers so much court and reads opposing servers and hitters quickly and accurately. She is relentless on defense and in coverage and gets touches on very impressive balls. Ellie is also a leader on her high school team and elevates every team she plays on. She moved from 77th to 69th in the rankings.
Kylee has proved time and time again this past season why she is one of the top pin hitters in this class. She is explosive and efficient. I would love to see her hitting percentage, even against some of the toughest opponents. Everything she does is high-level, from her serve to her service receive. I rarely see her make errors, and I swear I could put a quarter on the court, and she could hit it with her swing. Kylee jumped from 80th to
Madelyn is a setter with huge potential. She has great form and moves the ball around efficiently. She was also on the Sting 16 White team that took 3rd at nationals and was also named to the All-Tournament Team, a huge accomplishment. Madelyn works incredibly hard on the court and pushes herself to give her hitters the best possible opportunity to score points. Madelyn jumped from 78th to 68th in the rankings.
Cali is an outside on the rise in this class. She is engaged and relentless on offense and defense. Cali finds ways to terminate both in and out of system and mixes up her shots. She is powerful and consistent on offense. Cali has a high ceiling and a lot of potential and, as a result, moved from 110th to 70th in the rankings.
Lexi has consistently impressed me over the last year. She is scrappy and gritty. Lexi is the type of athlete who would do almost anything to run down a ball, and her passion and competitiveness show when she plays. She puts in massive amounts of hustle, which shows in her success on the court. She moved from 96th to 83rd in the rankings.
Ella jumped from 101 to 94th in the rankings. She was so impressive at Badger Region High Performance Camp and the Sizzle. Ella is a lefty right side with a huge vertical that elevates her game on offense and her block. She has a high contact on the ball and moves her shots around well. She also swings well on out-of-system balls and is always looking to earn points.
I have seen Keira play several times since her freshman year, but something about her competitiveness and grit on the court made her jump onto my radar even more, this season. She can play all six rotations and execute well as a right side. Keira is very versatile and is a total gamer. She steps up and performs under pressure and is a huge leader. She jumped from 105th to 99th in the rankings.
Hailey is a versatile pin hitter with a lethal line shot and can consistently bury a ball in the deep corner. She has a lot of potential and can play all six rotations. She has gotten coverage from all Wisconsin scouts and regularly stands out as a talented athlete in our notes. Hailey improved from 141st to 117th in our rankings.
