Class of 2024 State Ranking Stock Risers Vol 3

The upward movement of some of the top 175 players is something we are proud of.&nbsp; We have been watching the 2024 class very closely throughout the entire club season. &nbsp;A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles.&nbsp; We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects.&nbsp; The following players showed us all that they deserved to be moved up the rankings due to their individual performances.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='307447' first='Ally' last='Tribe']&nbsp;[2024] 6-1 Outside (HS: Columbus/Club: Texstar/ Verbal: University of Texas at San Antonio)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ally has moved up in our State Rankings.&nbsp; She went from being ranked as the 55^th&nbsp;best overall prospect to now being listed as the 47^th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. &nbsp;She plays for Columbus High School and also for the&nbsp;[program_tooltip program_id='431340' first='Texstar' last='Volleyball']&nbsp;club.&nbsp; We profiled her a few months back when she was added to the Rankings and here is a refresher of what we wrote, “<em>When you look at her stats, the words that come to mind are prolific and consistent.&nbsp; She has lit up the stat book for the past couple of years and we have definitely taken notice.&nbsp; Some might argue that she is playing against smaller schools, but in the sport of volleyball it is all relative due to it being a team game.&nbsp; Her production from all over the court is a testament to how hard she works and the coaching she is receiving.”</em>&nbsp; We have been watching her very closely and she has been dominant in both high school and club.&nbsp; All this young lady knows how to do is score the volleyball.&nbsp; She will likely go down as the best volleyball player to ever come out of Columbus High.&nbsp; Due to her recent success and also recently committing to play division one volleyball at the University of Texas at San Antonio, we chose to move her up our state rankings.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on the achievement.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='124133' first='Ava' last='Houser'] [2024] 5-7 Setter (HS: Guyer/Club: Excel/Verbal: Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":206039,"width":173,"height":115,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2022/07/85-Ava-Houser.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-206039" style="width:173px;height:115px" width="173" height="115" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ava has moved up the State Rankings List.  She is now ranked as the 45^th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings.  She plays high school volleyball for the powerhouse Guyer High School and is playing club volleyball for Excel this year.  Miss Houser is someone who we have been keeping our eyes on for the past couple of years due to just how smooth she is on the court.  Here is a refresher of the latest article we wrote about her earlier this club season, “<em>She attended our showcase event last summer at USAV Junior Nationals and she wowed all of the coaches with her abilities.  She is the type of setter that no matter what team she is on, she will make them better by how she moves the ball around to all of her hitters and her pinpoint accurate sets.  There is not a ball that she cannot replicate over and over no matter the tempo and location.  Any college would be lucky to have her as she will be a solid leader and great teammate.  Some players have that “It Factor” and Miss Houser is definitely one of them.  She is extremely coachable and has a great rapport with both coaches and teammates.  I suggest every school who needs a true leader give this young lady a look or two as she will not disappoint.”</em>  Due to how consistent she has been in her entire volleyball career, we looked at every setter thoroughly and decided to move her up the rankings in this update.  She is definitely a great leader and knows how to play the game at a very high level.  Any school who is still looking for a setter in the 2024 grad class will get an absolute STEAL of a player if they choose her.  Please help me congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='186236' first='Lusia' last='Langi']&nbsp;[2024] 5-11 Middle (HS: Hays/Club: United VBA/ Verbal: Utah Tech)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":310563,"width":116,"height":156,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2023/02/Lusia-Langi-e1675540388363.jpg?w=759" alt="" class="wp-image-310563" style="width:116px;height:156px" width="116" height="156" /></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lusia has moved up in our prestigious State Rankings.&nbsp; She went from being ranked as the 86^th&nbsp;best overall prospect to now being listed as the 77^th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. &nbsp;She plays for Hays High School and also for the United VBA club.&nbsp; Here is a little refresher of what I wrote about her when she got added a few months ago, “<em>I have watched Lusia over the last few years really come into her own in the middle position.&nbsp; Since she has been on our watch list, she has always had amazing athleticism and an awesome vertical.&nbsp; What took her out of the watch list and put her into the rankings was how she has used that natural athleticism over the last year.&nbsp; Her production on both the defensive and offensive end at her high school did not go unnoticed.&nbsp; She has been able to almost double her kill total and block total from her sophomore year to her junior year.&nbsp; In my opinion, she is nowhere near reaching her potential.&nbsp; That is scary for every opponent she faces because her skills are already lethal.&nbsp; What truly stands out when you watch her play is her footwork as she patrols the net while blocking pin to pin and also how she transitions from block to attack.”</em>&nbsp; Every word is absolutely warranted when you watch her play.&nbsp; Her star is on the rise because of all of the hard work she has put into mastering her craft over the years.&nbsp; It is all coming together at the right time for her to shine at the next level.&nbsp; I think she will be an immediate impact player for Utah Tech next season.&nbsp; Once the coaching staff gets their hands on her, the sky is the limit.&nbsp; When you mix being athletically gifted, coming from a solid family foundation, and having the desire to get better….that is a recipe for one outstanding young lady to have on your roster.&nbsp;
