Texas 2029 State Ranking New Additions Vol 5

The 5'11” setter from Southlake Carroll High School and MadFrog Volleyball Club is the type of player who instantly elevates everyone around her the moment she steps on the court. What stands out right away is her ability to command an offense with confidence well beyond her years, showing poise and control in every phase of the match. Mariel has a natural feel for tempo and rhythm, consistently delivering hittable balls to all zones while keeping blockers guessing. Her hands are clean and consistent, and the ball leaves her fingertips with precision and purpose every single time. She does a phenomenal job of squaring up to target and using her length to push the ball to the pins, even in out-of-system situations. Beyond the technical skill, her leadership presence is undeniable as she communicates effectively and keeps her team composed in high-pressure moments. This is evident as she has her club team as one of the best squads in the entire nation. The 6'0” outside hitter from Grand Oaks High School and [program_tooltip program_id='431166' first='Houston' last='Juniors'] Volleyball Club brings a dynamic and powerful presence to the pin that is impossible to ignore. Reese is a true six-rotation outside who impacts the game in every phase, combining high-level attacking with strong serve receive and defensive consistency. What makes her so dangerous offensively is her ability to generate power while still maintaining excellent control of her shots, allowing her to score against even well-formed blocks. She shows great body control in the air and has the ability to adjust mid-swing to find open space on the court. Her approach is fluid and explosive, helping her play above the net and terminate at a high clip. Defensively, she reads the game well and positions herself early, making her a reliable option in serve receive. With her size, skill set, and competitive drive, Reese is a player that college programs will be tracking very closely. The 6'0” setter and right side from Klein Cain High School and [program_tooltip program_id='510661' first='Houston' last='Skyline'] Volleyball Club is one of the most intriguing and versatile prospects in this class. Having the ability to both run an offense and impact the game as an attacker makes her a unique weapon that coaches can utilize in multiple ways. As a setter, Hana displays excellent touch and decision-making, consistently putting her hitters in advantageous positions to score. Her size allows her to see over the defense and create mismatches, especially when she is front row and becomes a legitimate scoring threat herself. On the right side, she brings power and length that make her difficult to defend, giving her team another strong option in transition. Her athleticism and court awareness allow her to seamlessly switch roles without disrupting the flow of the game. Players with this level of versatility and upside are rare, and it is clear that Hana has a very bright future ahead.
