We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.
Chloe Johnson Chloe Johnson 5'11" | OH Gunter | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-0 Outside (HS: Gunter/Club: Madfrog /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please officially welcome Miss Johnson to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 110th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Gunter High School and will play club for the Madfrog this coming season. Chloe has been a phenomenal player for the past few years and we have been watching. I was lucky enough to watch her awesome TAV squad medal at Junior Nationals in Chicago this summer. Her play was so exceptional that USA Volleyball selected her to the All-Tournament team for the USA Division. Miss Johnson plays well above the net and brings the heat with every swing. She is blessed with a super strong frame that allows her to get a maximum height in her vertical and a hard attack. One aspect that truly stands out about her play is how she is able to turn on the ball on either pin and hit hard down the line. This is a fantastic shot that scores very well for her. We will are very happy to have her listed on our State Ranking List. Please help us congratulate her on the honor of being listed amongst the state’s best players.
Kate Kuehn Kate Kuehn 5'11" | S Seven Lakes | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-10 Setter (HS: Seven Lakes/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Kuehn to the prestigious State Rankings. Kate is currently ranked as the 117th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Seven Lakes High School and also for the nationally recognized Houston Skyline volleyball club. Miss Kuehn is one of the awesome setters who is helping drive the offense for the Spartans this season. She also doubles as a pin attacker. This kind of versatility is why we are very big on her addition to the Rankings. As a setter, she is quick to the ball and makes decisions very fast. She has a very quick release and that makes the ball shoot to her attackers rapidly. I also love how there is not a set that she cannot replicate over and over. When she is in the front row, she provides a much-needed block and can be an offensive threat to go over on two with the dump. Her size and skill level should definitely garner a lot of interest from college programs. We will be watching her very closely this year and are proud to have her listed. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our prestigious State Ranking List.
Sophie Bridges Sophie Bridges 5'8" | DS/L Prosper | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-8 Libero (HS: Prosper/Club: Texas Advantage /Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Bridges officially to the State Rankings. Sophie is currently ranked as the 124th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Prosper High School and also for the nationally ranked Texas Advantage Volleyball club. I have been lucky enough to have watched her in person numerous times and she continues to amaze me with her ball control and ability to always be in a great position to play the ball. It is almost like she has a sixth sense on where the hitter will try to deliver the ball to. Hard driven attacks are no problem at all with her soft contact on her platform. Because of her length compared to other liberos, she is able to have a longer extended defensive range to dig. This is key as she is a master at keeping the ball off of the floor. Serve receive is not a problem at all as she is a libero that stands out in both aspects of ball control. We have had her in our watch list for a while and this year she proved herself with her play. Please help us congratulate her on being named one of the best players in the state of Texas.
