Just a sophomore, Brown is putting up even better numbers than she did in 2022. The 6’2 pin is averaging 6’1 k/s as she uses her length well to get up and contact high to swing over average blockers. Her high volume effort is also very effective as she is swinging for a .362 efficiency. At 9.6 d/m, she is providing more in this phase of the game this season as well. Terminating in double figure kills every match this season, she has 101 kills over Lexington’s most recent four contests, helping them improve to 9-2 overall.

Latell has been a critical piece for Girard every season of her high school career. The 5’9 outside hitter is offering her biggest production as she has 233 total kills so far in 2023 for a 6.0 k/s average. Starting her varsity career with 283 kills in 2020, she had consecutive seasons over 300 kills with a current career total of 1,181. She is also contributing a career best 12.9 digs per contest. She has twice gone for 30 or more kills with both of those efforts happening this season, including 37 kills in a tough 3-2 loss to East Liverpool earlier, then 30 kills in their most recent match in which they won 3-2 over Jefferson.

At 6’0, Dobbs is once again leading Toronto’s offense from a variety of variety of attack points all over the court. She had 580 kills in 2022 and is slightly ahead of her average from last season at 6.5 k/s. She creates a big lift that gets her above the tape well with a high elbow contact. Her elevation can get her on top of the ball and get it onto the defense quickly. An all-league and all-region selection in prior seasons, Dobbs has incredible career numbers currently with 1,345 kills, 1,280 digs, 192 blocks, and 186 service aces. She is committed to UMBC.

The 5’9 junior pin is quickly closing in on the 1,000 kills mark for her career as she has terminated 224 times in 2023 for a 5.1 k/s average. She is overwhelmingly the go-to arm for the Pirates as she has seen nearly twice as many opportunities than any of her teammates. She is effective on both sides of the court and is aggressive at the top of her jump upon contact. Schlabach is the biggest factor defensively as well at 13.2 d/m. Approaching the midpoint of her junior season soon, her career numbers include 908 kills, .295 efficiency, 765 digs, and 112 service aces. The Pirates are 8-5 overall.
