<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The high school volleyball season continues to progress at full pace in the state of Texas and, just like that, we're already into the second month of action in the Lone Star State.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig will be following the action closely and every match I get to attend will be followed with a Top Performers Report, highlighting the prospects who stood out on the court, and a photo gallery.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On Thursday, September, there were several matches taking place in the Katy district and I attended the duel between the Katy Taylor Mustangs and Katy Tigers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Despite playing on the road, the Tigers walked away with a 3-1 (25-20, 13-25, 25-17, 25-17) victory to improve their district record to 4-4 and their season overall campaign to 13-19. Adams was not only very precise and consistent, even when out of system, but also thrived in her ball distribution. She had an excellent feel for the game, understanding the moment of each of her hitters and identifying the best options to use during the entire match, and made the most of her versatile offensive players, moving them around and creating doubts across the net. Her incredible athleticism was way too much for Katy Taylor's blockers to deal with and she was nearly unstoppable on sets three and four. Extremely versatile offensively, she scored from the left, the middle and the right and was a constant threat to the opponents. The junior middle had long runs every time she was on the line, getting a match-high 21 serve attempts, and led the Tigers with two aces, besides getting Taylor out of system quite frequently. Bissaillon was a stud in her left back position, finding great success when trying to stop Katy's pin hitters while defending angle. She got several of her 28 digs like that and was also great at tracking and running tips in the middle of the court. Despite playing just the three net rotations, the junior led her team in kills (ten) and blocks (six), carrying most of the offensive load.
