Prep Dig Ready To Run First Minnesota Tournament – Minnesota Slam
Prep Dig will be running their first tournament in Minnesota when they host the Minnesota Slam at the National Volleyball Center in Rochester February 3-4.
What’s the vibe at a Prep Dig Tournament?
At Prep Dig Events, there is a solid combination of competition with a chance for teams to face each other who might typically not see each other at events. At the Minnesota Slam, there is a solid core of teams already signed up from Wisconsin in Fox Valley Performance (Appleton), Northern Revival (Superior), Wisconsin Ice (Wausau), and Xtreme (La Crosse). Fox Valley Performance, Wisconsin Ice , and Xtreme have been competing in Prep Dig Events the last three seasons and are all programs who send teams to nationals with AAU or USAV.
What type of coverage can be expected at a Prep Dig Event? Our scouts Breit Nelson and Chris Fitzgerald will be in attendance at the Minnesota Slam (with potentially more to come). Nelson is a scout for Prep Dig Wisconsin and Prep Dig Minnesota where she is also a coach for Wisconsin Ice . She has been a pivotal part of the Prep Dig network of scouts where she has been contributing since 2019. Fitzgerald is our Prep Dig National Analyst, attending national events, contributing to national rankings as well as multiple player evaluations and player rankings across the country. He is the lead scout for Prep Dig Iowa.
Prep Dig is looking forward providing coverage to these teams in the Midwest where we provide live tweets during the tournament, video, plenty of photos, and content before and after the event. Teams will have a five match minimum with three matches on Saturday and two to three matches on Sunday. All matches will have an R1 and all matches will be streamed on BallerTV.
Registration is OPEN at our Prep Dig Events page as well as AES.
