1. St. James (25-3)
St. James is back on top after claiming a tournament championship in a loaded field last weekend. In those wins were the number two and three teams in our rankings. May Bolton is averaging over 5 digs per set.
2. Mill Valley (18-4)
Mill Valley has peaked at its highest position this year at number two after a runner-up finish in the same tournament with St. James, Heritage Christian, and Blue Valley North. They took down then-number one Blue Valley North in three sets with a 29-27 final set. Ashlyn Blazer Ashlyn Blazer 6'0" | MB Mill Valley | 2025 State KS is still hitting over .400.
3, Heritage Christian (22-4)
HCA still continues to challenge itself in tough tournaments. They move up to the third spot after a third-place finish, also knocking off Blue Valley North. Rachel Van Gorp Rachel Van Gorp 5'9" | OH Heritage Christian | 2024 State #94 Nation KS had 11 kills against North.
4. Blue Valley North (25-2)
The Mustangs suffered their first defeats of the year in the tournament featuring all of the teams ahead of them.
5. Olathe Northwest (22-5)
The Ravens are winners of eight in a row and peaking at the right time after some early defeats. Lauren Roediger Lauren Roediger 6'2" | MB Olathe Northwest | 2024 State KS has been key behind the service line.
6. St. Thomas Aquinas (19-5)
The Saints are moving themselves back up the rankings after some big wins last week. They also have eight wins in a row, with victories over Liberty North and Lee’s Summit West. Alea Goolsby Alea Goolsby 5'11" | OH St. Thomas Aquinas | 2025 State #36 Nation KS went off for 16 kills over Liberty North.
7. Blue Valley West (18-5)
West is still winning and had one-speed bump in their week to the team ranked right above them.
8. Olathe West (20-5)
West picked up a couple of wins last week and only slid down due to Aquinas getting wins over stronger opponents. Neely Leathers Neely Leathers 5'10" | S Olathe West | 2026 State KS and Emma Sales Emma Sales 5'9" | S Olathe West | 2025 State KS combined for 26 assists in a win over Shawnee Mission Northwest
9. Spring Hill (22-5)
Spring Hill was the winner of their own Invitational last weekend. Sydney Buscher Sydney Buscher 5'10" | S Spring Hill | 2025 State KS and Keilah Rivers Keilah Rivers 5'10" | OH Spring Hill | 2024 State KS teamed up for 23 kills in the championship win over Lansing.
10. Liberty North (16-5)
Liberty North stayed solid with a small hiccup against St. Thomas Aquinas. They knocked off rival Liberty in a five-set clash. 11. St. Michael The Archangel (16-5)
Big win last week over a good Pleasant Hill team. Mikalah Davis Mikalah Davis 5'9" | OH St. Michael The Archangel | 2024 State MO dropped 22 kills in the match.
12. St. Pius (18-5)
Pius sits at 12 this week after picking up a few more wins. Mikayla Fox Mikayla Fox 6'0" | MB St. Pius X | 2027 MO and Anna Ashby Anna Ashby 5'10" | MB St. Pius | 2026 State MO have stepped up their play as of late.
13. Blue Springs South (15-6)
South had a light week with their only match being a loss to St. Thomas Aquinas.
14. Lansing (20-7)
Lansing is back in the poll after a strong weekend in Topeka that finished with a runner-up finish at the Spring Hill tournament. Anna Laincz Anna Laincz 5'10" | OH Lansing | 2024 State KS is leading the team in kills and digs.
15. Shawnee Mission East (17-7)
The Lancers are winners of eight in a row, with their last loss to Olathe West. In fact, five of their seven losses come to teams ranked in the Power 15. This is their first week in the rankings this season. They are getting good play from Zoë McDonald Zoë McDonald 6'2" | MB Shawnee Mission East | 2024 State KS .
