<p>We are only a couple of weeks away from the sub-state season in volleyball.</p>

<p>Leading up to the October 22 sub-state tournaments, I will look at players from each division who could impact a sub-state tournament and lead their team to the state tournament.</p>

<p>I will start with Class 1A DII prospects who hope to qualify for the state tournament in Emporia.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523687' first='Olivia' last='Stein']</strong>, 6'0”, OH, Ingalls, ‘26</p>

<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Stein is an incredible hitter. She unofficially leads Class 1A DII in kills with 426. Ingalls currently has a record of 21-8 and projects to be the No. 1 seed in the Satanta sub-state.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='516244' first='Audrey' last='Bina']</strong>, 6'0”, S/MH, Northern Valley, ‘26</p>

<p>Bina can play multiple positions. She leads Northern Valley in kills with 310, but she also has 176 assists and 54 blocks. Northern Valley currently owns a record of 19-10 and projects to be the No. 2 seed in the Grainfield-Wheatland/Grinnell sub-state.</p>

<p><strong>Zoie Redgate</strong>, 5'5”, S/OH, Attica, ‘25</p>

<p>Zoie Redgate is an interesting player who can really jump. She is Attica's primary setter with 252 assists, but she also leads the team in kills with 207. She has a nice tip game as well. Attica currently projects as the No. 1 seed in the Argonia sub-state with a record of 25-3.</p>

<p><strong>Tessa Lohse</strong>, 5'8”, L/DS, Hanover, ‘24</p>

<p>Lohse is a tall defensive player who is a key player for Hanover. She currently has 585 digs and 331 receptions for Hanover. The Wildcats are currently 23-5 and project to be the No. 1 seed in the Axtell sub-state.</p>

<p><strong>Iliany Yanez, </strong>5'7”, S/L, Greeley County ‘24</p>

<p>Yanez is a talented setter who is also a solid defensive player. She has 586 assists and 109 digs through 61 sets played. The Jackrabbits are currently projected to be the No. 1 seed in the sub-state that they will host.</p>

<p><strong>Kennedy Amrein</strong>, 6'0”, OH/MH, Victoria, ‘24</p>

<p>Amrein is a six-rotation player for Victoria. She leads the team with 178 kills but also has 172 digs and 208 serve receptions. The Knights are currently 14-11 but are projected to be the No. 2 seed in the Tescott sub-state. </p>

<p><strong>Olivia Lacey</strong>, 5'8”, OH, Marias des Cygnes Valley, ‘24</p>

<p>Lacey is a solid two-sport athlete for the Trojans. She has 98 kills and 94 digs in 45 sets played. MDCV will play in the Waverly sub-state and is projected to be the No. 2 seed.</p>

<p><strong>Brooke Davidson</strong>, 6'1', MH/OH, Elyria Christian, ‘25 </p>

<p>Davidson is a tall prospect who can hammer a ball. She has 182 kills and 50 total blocks. Elyria Christian currently owns a record of 14-11 and is projected to be the No. 2 see in the Centre (Lost Springs) sub-state.</p>
