Kallie Johnson Kallie Johnson 5’8″ | OH Cannon Falls | 2024 State MN led Cannon Falls with 16 kills in a high-scoring 3-1 loss to Bloomington Jefferson, 18-25, 26-28, 28-26, 20-25. Johnson had a 28.6% kill percentage along the way.
She also had 17 service aces and 15 digs. Johnson set things up for the Bombers often with 14 serve receptions.
Overall, Johnson has 164 kills, 166 service aces, 15 total blocks, and 152 digs this season in 59 sets played. She has less than 50 kills to go for the 400-kill career mark in her third varsity season.
Johnson has good measurables with a 90-inch reach, a 110.5-inch approach, and a 101-inch block.
Karsyn Winchell Karsyn Winchell 5’7″ | OH Cannon Falls | 2025 State MN tallied 15 kills and 15 service aces for Cannon Falls in a 3-1 loss to Bloomington Jefferson.
Winchell also delivered 15 digs, and she got the offense going with a team-high 31 serve receptions. She also had a team-best 33.3% kill percentage on the night.
On the attack, Winchell get rack up points near the net or deliver kills in open spaces between her opponents. She’s particularly effective around the net as she gets the right angles when facing opposing blockers.
Edgerton’s Alyda Vande Griend Alyda Vande Griend 5’11” | MB Edgerton | 2024 MN deliver a 20-kill performance against Luverne in a 3-0 sweep by scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-22.
Vande Griend also posted a block, 14 digs, and 12 serve receptions. Overall, Vande Griend has 150 kills, 83 service aces, 25 total blocks, and 114 digs for the year in 32 sets played.
She’s closing in on a few milestones for her career as 800 kills, 400 service aces, and 400 digs are all within reach. Vande Griend also has an outside chance at 200 career blocks if she can get close to her 85-block sophomore season.
Rocori’s Ava Stalboerger Ava Stalboerger 5’9″ | RS Rocori | 2024 State MN helped Rocori sweep Little Falls 3-0 by scores of 25-11, 25-12, 25-14.
Stalboerger led the Spartans with 13 kills amid a 50% kill percentage. She also tallied eight service aces, three total blocks, and five digs.
Overall, she has 82 kills, 16 service aces, 28 total blocks, and 19 digs in 30 sets played this season. Stalboerger is on pace for 400 career kills this year.
She strikes quickly on the attack, and she gets excellent velocity on the ball. Stalboerger places it well, but her force alone makes it tough for opponents to resume the volley.
Ashlyn Fuchs Ashlyn Fuchs 5’7″ | OH Rocori | 2026 State MN posted 10 kills for Rocori in a 3-0 sweep of Little Falls.
Fuchs was efficient with a 55.6% kill rate, and she had two total blocks. She also posted two digs, and she helped on serve receptions with two.
Overall, Fuchs has 15 kills, two service aces, two blocks, and five digs in seven sets played this fall. Fuchs emerged as a solid varsity player for the Spartans this season.
Champlin Park’s Kathryn Adler Kathryn Adler 6’1″ | MB Champlin Park | 2025 State MN posted 11 kills in a 3-0 sweep of Hopkins by scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-10. She had a 58.8% attack percentage along the way.
Adler is a force in the middle with a strong spike, and she can make plays at the net when needed. She gets excellent speed on her hits, but she also places the ball in tough spots for opponents to return.
Overall, Adler has 125 kills and 25 blocks this season.
