Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Kirra Musgrove Kirra Musgrove 6'2" | S Lutheran South Academy | 2025 State #12 Nation TX [2025] 6-2 Setter (HS: Lutheran South/Club: Houston Skyline/Verbal: Texas A&M University)
Kirra is currently ranked as the 5th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Lutheran South High School and also plays club for the Houston Skyline volleyball program. Miss Musgrove has paved her way to being listed as the top setter in her grad class with some amazing work on the court over the last couple of years. She has the frame and speed in the position to be a game changer for any team she is on. As a setter, her game is top notch and that is why she was able to play up an age group last year on a very talented open level team. Any team who has her on their squad can use her when she is in the front row as a setter and they will not lose anything on the defensive side of the ball as she is a high-level blocker at the net. She is also able to attack the ball at a very high level as a hitter also. We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at Texas A&M University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Taylor Williams Taylor Williams 5'8" | OH Langham Creek | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-8 Outside/Defensive Specialist (HS: Langham Creek/Club: Texas Tornados /Verbal: Alabama State University)
Taylor is currently ranked as the 167th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Langham Creek High School and club for the Texas Tornados volleyball program. Miss Williams has shown off her skills quite well for the past few years. She is a high-flying pin who can play all the way around. She has one of the hardest attacks that we have seen in a while. I almost feel sorry for the ball as she unloads a violent swing on it. What I truly love is how she uses amazing top-spin on her attacks to keep them in the court when she hits high, hard, and deep shots to the corners. Her ball control skills are amazing out of serve receive also and she will be a great addition to any team she is on. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the Alabama State University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Madisen Bailey [2024] 5-6 Setter (HS: Atascocita/Club: TAV Houston /Verbal: Union College)
Madisen is currently ranked as the 70th best overall prospect in the state according to the 2024 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Atascocita High School and plays club for the TAV Houston program. Miss Bailey is a very serviceable setter who knows what it takes to move the ball around and keep an offense flowing. She is extremely accurate on all sets to all hitters no matter the tempo. I have seen some solid footwork that allows her to stay in a great posture throughout each pass that comes her way. This is even true on out of system plays in which the ball is not passed to her. I love how she uses great court vision to help get her to the ball in those situations faster than others would. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at the Union College. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
