Fillmore Central’s Kammry Broadwater Kammry Broadwater 5’11” | OH Fillmore Central | 2024 MN stepped up in a sweep of Wabasha-Kellogg on Thursday, 25-13, 25-8, 25-14. Broadwater posted 12 kills, two digs, a block, and a service ace in the victory.
She has excellent velocity on her kill attempt delivery, and Wasbasha-Kellogg had little time to work with when Broadwater fired the ball with her quick swing. Broadwater moves well, and she uses her length to her advantage.
If needed, Broadwater can also get the fineness kills, and she has excellent ball placement. The senior could be a force at the net in college.
Abby Distad Abby Distad 5’6″ | S Kasson-Mantorville | 2024 State MN has a solid match for Kasson-Mantorville in a 3-0 sweep of Winona, 25-20, 25-19, 25-21. Distad posted 21 set assists, seven digs, and three service aces.
The senior setter/defensive specialist does an excellent job of setting up her teammates in ways that catches the opposition off guard. Distad also excels at getting the ball to the attacker with the best opportunity for a kill.
She has excellent footwork and gets to the ball quickly. Distad is a strong team player, who brings the best out of her teammates on the court.

stepped in a 3-0 sweep of Rochester Lourdes, 25-11, 25-14, 25-12 on Thursday. Rommes posted 35 set assists in the win.
A senior setter, Rommes does many things well. She has an excellent serve and can either send the ball to tough spots near the back line to wedge it into a difficult spot between opposing players.
Rommes moves well with her athleticism and sharp footwork when going for digs. She gets the ball back to her teammates effectively to set up more offensive opportunities.
Sahara Morken Sahara Morken 5’4″ | S Mabel Canton | 2025 State MN stood out in Mabel Canton’s 3-0 sweep of Houston, 25-12, 25-16, 25-11 on Thursday. Morken delivered 30 set assists, 10 digs, and three aces in the victory.
She as excellent chemistry with star attacker Kinley Soiney Kinley Soiney 5’10” | MB Mabel-Canton | 2026 MN , and it showed against Houston. Morken sets the ball well whether it’s Soiney going for a kill or another Cougars hitter.
Morken has excellent footwork and moves well on the court. She’s ready for the ball, and she’s an excellent team player.
Pine Island’s Kiley Passow Kiley Passow 5’10” | MB Pine Island | 2025 State MN stepped up in her team’s 3-0 sweep of Triton, 25-15, 25-19, 25-17. Passow posted 12 kills, two set assists, 12 digs, a block, and two service aces.
An athletic middle hitter, Passow has great delivery on the ball whether she’s hitting for power or looking for the right spot to tap the ball for a kill. On defense, Passow excels at using her reach to keep the ball in play.
That goes for both digs and blocks. Passow is a force at the net when going for a block as much as she is when going for a kill.
