Jenninges was just one of many top prospects who shined during Monday’s action. Here’s a closer look at Jenninges’ performance and others around Minnesota.
Besides Jenniges’ 37 set assists, she posted two blocks, 10 digs, and a kill. She helped the Chargers improve to 21-4 overall amid a three-game winning streak.
Jenninges has a strong senior season going with 36 service aces, 14 blocks, 196 digs, 677 set assists, and 62 kills. She recently passed 600 career digs, and she’s on pace for 2,000 career set assists.
Against Yellow Medicine East, Jenniges displayed excellent footwork and quickness to the ball on digs. The 5-foot-8 senior setter also jumps well and can collect kills.
Kate Heyn Kate Heyn 5’6″ | S Plainview-Elgin-Millville | 2024 MN had a solid game for Plainview-Elign-Millville in a 3-2 win over Lake City, 20-25, 25-12, 23-25, 25-22, 17-15.
Heyn tallied 12 kills, five service aces, two blocks, 10 digs, and 24 set assists. The senior setter has a a strong season going with 108 kills, 54 service aces, 18 blocks, 179 digs, and 251 set assists in 64 sets played.
Against Lake City, Heyn showed her ability to attack the net in a variety of ways. She used her excellent reach to place the ball in tough spots for the Tigers to return it, and she occasionally showed her velocity on harder kill attempts to drive the ball past the Tigers’ front line.
Kittson Central-Lancaster sophomore Kaydence White Kaydence White 6’0″ | MB Kittson County Central | 2026 State MN stepped up in a 3-2 loss against Lake of the Woods 19-25, 21-25, 25-13, 25-18, 11-15.
White tallied 23 kills, four total blocks, two digs, and a set assist. A second-year varsity player, White already surpassed the 500 career kill mark, and she notched her 100th career block on Monday against Lake of the Woods. This season, 5-foot-11 middle hitter has 339 kills, 36 service aces, 57 blocks, and 33 digs.
She dominates at the net with ease amid her height, athleticism, and hitting power. White also has an excellent approach jump.

Kinley Soiney Kinley Soiney 5’10” | MB Mabel-Canton | 2026 State MN stepped up for Mabel-Canton in a 3-0 sweep of the Southland Rebels 25-18, 25-18, 25-11.
Soiney posted 15 kills, three service aces, three blocks, and five digs. The 5-foot-10 middle hitter has a strong season going with 427 kills, 50 service aces, 65 blocks, and 141 digs.
A varsity player since the seventh grade, Soiney already passed the 1,000-kill career mark plus 200 career blocks and digs this season. She had 1,119 kills, 250 blocks, 252 digs, and 56 service aces.
Soiney has a hammer fist technique to her kill attempts according to ABC 6 News, which did a profile on her dominance on the court. She’s quick to the ball and drives hit home with heavy velocity.
Kenyon-Wanamingo’s Rachel Ryan Rachel Ryan 5’0″ | DS/L Kenyon Wanamingo | 2024 State MN had a solid game despite her team’s 3-0 loss to Zumbrota-Mazeppa 25-20, 28-26, 25-18.
Ryan had 13 digs, a set assist, and a kill in the loss. She’s a scrappy player who will go after balls that get close to the floor.
A 4-foot-10 senior defensive specialist/libero, Ryan has good measurables with a 73.5-inch reach, a 91.5 -inch approach, and an 81-inch block. She also has excellent flexibility and balance, which helps her be one of the best defensive players in the state.
