Kennedy Drake Kennedy Drake 5’6″ | DS/L Marshall | 2024 State MN had a big night for Marshall in a 3-0 sweep of Redwood Valley.
Drake tallied 15 digs for the game, and she delivered 4-0 run on serves during the contest. A 5-foot-6 defensive specialist, Drake is effective in the backcourt for the Tigers.
She moves well and is quick to the ball. Drake can also make scrappy plays when needed.
Lily Holtan Lily Holtan S Rochester Mayo | 2025 MN had a big game for Rochester Mayo in a 3-1 win over Rochester John Marshall by scores of 25-18, 25-20, 15-25, 25-20.
Holtan tallied 11 kills, five service aces, 23 set assists and three digs. She places the ball with ease, and she can deliver the ball with good velocity.
The senior setter has a good reach at 86 inches, and she uses that well on the attack. Holtan has a 95-inch block, and she can be a force around the net.
Jadyn Lester Jadyn Lester 5’10” | S Rochester Mayo | 2024 State MN had a solid performance for Rochester Mayo in a 3-0 win over Rochester John Marshall.
Lester tallied 13 kills, 19 set assists, a block, two service aces, and five digs. At 5-foot-9, Lester is a force at outside hitter as she uses her height, jump, and reach well.
She also hits with excellent velocity, but she can place it at just the right angle if an opponent is likely to get a hand on it. Lester also has excellent timing on her hits, which makes it all the more challenging for opponents.

Reese Koenen Reese Koenen 6’0″ | RS Pine Island | 2024 MN stepped up for Pine Island in a 3-0 sweep of Rochester Lourdes, 25-22, 25-12, 25-14.
Koenen tallied 12 kills, a block, five digs, and seven set assists. She displayed an excellent delivery on the attack against Lourdes, and she placed in tough spots for the Eagles to return the ball.
A 6-foot-0 junior, Koenen moves very well, and she’s quick to the ball. She uses her reach well to make plays on the ball.
Peyton Krause Peyton Krause 6’0″ | MB Stewartville | 2024 State MN had a solid game for Stewartville in a 3-2 loss to Cannon Falls .
Krause tallied 11 kills against the Bombers. She placed the ball well with good touch on the ball, but she drilled the ball multiple times on the attack.
Her 90-inch reach was most evident in that game as she swung at the ball for points. Krause also has good measurables with her approach, 110.5 inches, and block, 102 inches.
Lydia Knutson-Kimball had a solid showing for La Crescent-Hokah in a 3-0 sweep of Dover-Eyota.
Knutson-Kimball delivered nine kills in the victory. She hits the ball hard with her quick delivery, but she also places it well at the same time. She can really thread the needle on her kill attempts.
Her approach on kill attempts is solid, and she has good footwork. The freshman outside hitter has a lot of potential in her young varsity career.
