The field in Class 2 this year has more parity than previous seasons. We don't have the one dominant player as we've had in seasons past. We have an influx of talent in Class 2 and the field is wide open. Here is a list of my top Class 2 volleyball players.

[player_tooltip player_id='349615' first='Kylee' last='Richey'] – 2025 - Middle – Versailles

Kylee leads all of Class 2 in kills with 492 and has 998 for her career. Add in 194 blocks and 600 digs and you can see why the 6'1” six-rotation middle is one of the top players in Class 2.

[player_tooltip player_id='490128' first='Lizzie' last='Clifton'] – 2026 – Outside - Adrian

The potential is there to be the greatest volleyball player in Adrian's history. The 5'8” outside hitter is the focal point of the Adrian attack as she has racked up 401 kills this season. A major jump from the 143 last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='195373' first='Hannah' last='Medlock'] – 2024 – Outside - Licking

Hannah is another one of those players who can just rip the ball from anywhere on the court. The high flyer outside at 5'7” has 1,136 career kills to go with 1,083 digs. She might be only 5'7” but the power in her swing is impressive.

[player_tooltip player_id='493032' first='Megan' last='Wood'] – 2025 – Outside - Jefferson

The defending Class 2 champs lost a ton of offense from last year but Wood is doing her part to make up for it. Her big approach and powerful swing have her with 305 career kills and 264 digs. Remember she played behind six players that all went to play at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='168902' first='Angie' last='Smith'] – 2024 – Outside - Houston

The four-year starter for Houston is a vicious attacker and can hit from anywhere on the court. Angie passed 1,000 kills this season and currently has 1,209 to go along with 1,351 digs. Big a player who had 43 in a 5-set win over Thayer.

[player_tooltip player_id='495370' first='Sadie' last='McCulloh'] – 2024 – Middle - Sherwood

Sadie is having a monster year for Sherwood and just past 1,000 career kills. Add in her 284 blocks and 1127 and you can understand why some people say she will leave Sherwood as one of the best.

Breckyn Koeller – 2024 – Setter - Hermann

The one thing that's a given come playoffs is the Hermann Bearcats are always a threat. Breckyn leads all of Class 2 in assists with 858 and has 2,052 for her two-year varsity career.

[player_tooltip player_id='495340' first='Kyla' last='Conard'] – 2024 – Setter - Bishop LeBlond

Kyla took over the offense in her sophomore year and is currently in 2nd for season assists in Class 2 with 832. She only needs 128 more to pass 2,000 for her career.

Zora Whitt – 2024 – Libero – East Buchanan

One of the top liberos in Class 2 has 1,028 career digs and a fantastic jump serve that's given her 212 career aces. A huge reason for East Buchanan's success the last two years is because of Zora's backcourt play.

[player_tooltip player_id='493022' first='Kennedie' last='Witthaus']- 2025 – Libero – Hermann

One constant over the years is the defensive players at Hermann are consistent. A quick and picture-perfect libero. If Hermann wants to return to the final four Kennedie will have to keep the ball off the floor. She currently has 817 career digs in her two seasons and with a deep run will pass 1,000. One of the top liberos in Class 2.
