2023 Michigan Top 250 Preview: Incoming Pin Attackers

This is a showcase that has historically been one of the most star-studded filled showcases in the Top 250 series. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With another high school season under our belt and an exciting club season ahead of us, we have a lot of really hot incoming talent to look forward to.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's start off strong with the top incoming outside attackers to the Top 250 showcase in Michigan.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='454359' first='Elise' last='Biermann'] </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We didn't hear much from this player in the early days of the season, but by the end of the season, [player_tooltip player_id='454359' first='Elise' last='Biermann'] was putting everyone on high alert. In only her debut season, Biermann has shown that she has a lot of game in her pocket. A nice, promising six rotation player, Biermann proves to be a steady attacker and nice first contact for Ike this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='444584' first='Caylin' last='Lindsay'] </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another freshman phenom, [player_tooltip player_id='444584' first='Caylin' last='Lindsay'] seemingly had a great transition from junior high ball to the varsity level with Hartland. A nice jumper and live arm, Lindsay created an effective and crucial 1-2 punch for Hartland. Because of her effectiveness as a young gun, Hartland saw themselves with one of their best seasons in program history.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='226911' first='Riley' last='Pilat']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While it's unsure where we will see this player on the court coming into the season, it's safe to say, she has a home on the pins. A middle throughout the entirety of 2023, [player_tooltip player_id='226911' first='Riley' last='Pilat'] can become one mean attacker on the left and right pins. An All-State performer for Plymouth Christian this fall, Pilat will look to hopefully transition full-time to the pins,</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='457339' first='Tia' last='Schultz'] </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We love a good breakout story. For [player_tooltip player_id='457339' first='Tia' last='Schultz'], this past high school season was her breakout story. A nice, lengthy lefty on the right side, Schultz has turned quite the few heads this fall. Bringing back Dexter to show signs of former glories, Schultz not only provided a range of scoring attacks, but also provided an incredible block as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='191749' first='Abigail' last='Wutka'] </h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>From one breakout to the other, [player_tooltip player_id='191749' first='Abigail' last='Wutka'] had some real nice, shining moments this fall with Dakota. In her first year on varsity full-time, Wutka created herself a comfortable space on the outside, owning the spot opposite of [player_tooltip player_id='172209' first='Karley' last='Pretzer']. The two created a dynamic 1-2 punch and Wutka saw her game grow leaps and bounds. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
