2025 Pace Setters: Fund & Razzano Have Solid Seasons

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I saw some salty setters in the Class of 2025 including Beloit's [player_tooltip player_id='493498' first='Jaidyn' last='Follis'], Blue Valley West's [player_tooltip player_id='173372' first='Lily' last='Wedman'], and [player_tooltip player_id='154039' first='Reese' last='Messer'] from St. James Academy.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yet, there were several setters who had all-star seasons who I was unable to see play in person.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a look at some of the top setters in Kansas from the Class of 2025.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514807' first='Remy' last='Tate'], </strong>5'5”, S, Ingalls, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tate had 913 assists in 77 sets played for the Bulldogs. She has sneaky good serve as she recorded 45 assists during her junior season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='219719' first='Kaylee' last='Hampton'], </strong>5'9”, S, Clearwater, ‘25 (Pictured Above)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hampton is a solid setter who collected 893 assists in 95 sets played for the Indians. She can play all six rotations as she finished her junior season with 167 digs, 112 kills, 41 total blocks, and 65 aces.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514793' first='Isabel' last='Hurla'], </strong>5'7”, S, St. Marys, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hurla racked up 842 assists in 85 sets played for the Bears. She is also a solid defender finishing with 159 digs. Hurla is also a combo guard on the St. Marys basketball squad.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Morgan Kramer</strong>, 5'5”, S, Centralia, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kramer should be considered one of the top setters heading to her senior year. She collected 796 assists in 100 sets played for the Panthers. Kramer also finished with 256 digs during her junior season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514805' first='Emily' last='Scribner'], </strong>5'3”, S, Flinthills, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Mustangs' setter finished with 714 assists in 81 sets played. The three-sport athlete also collected 174 digs. She will be gunning for the 2,000 assist mark next fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='493511' first='Lauren' last='Fund'], </strong>5'5”, S, Santa Fe Trail, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Fund finished up back-to-back seasons with at least 600 assists. She registered 692 assists in 76 sets played for the Chargers. She has reached the 1,500 career assist threshold. She is athletic and also plays basketball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Aimee Funk, </strong>5'2”, S, Goessel, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Bluebirds' setter will also be heading into her senior season off back-to-back 600-assist seasons. She finished with 653 assists in 86 sets played for Goessel during the 2023 season. Funk had 292 digs during her junior campaign.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='514813' first='Arabell' last='Razzano'], </strong>5'6”, S, Wamego, ‘25</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wamego played in a tournament that I scouted, but the Indians were in a different pool from the one I watched. She collected 620 assists in 81 sets played during her junior season. She added 151 digs and 24 total blocks to her stat line.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
