Schmidt is super explosive from the right side and makes great adjustments to the set. She knows exactly how to use the outside edges of the block and makes her presence known at the net. She led the Stars in their quarterfinal with 14 kills and hitting a .480. Schmidt added another 10 kills while hitting a .333 in their quarterfinal while also proving her worth on defense with 7 digs.
Martini was flying everywhere on the court to make great defensive plays and covering her hitters. You could tell her hitters were comfortable swinging away, knowing she had their back. Martini was a game changer for the Patriots to keep going during their 5 set barn burner semifinal against Caledonia. She tallied 32 digs and had only a single serve receive error. Martini’s passing was crucial for the Patriots to get the ball to Ella Kratochvil Ella Kratochvil 5’10” | OH Pequot Lakes | 2024 State MN and Grace Hoffard Grace Hoffard 5’11” | MB Pequot Lakes | 2025 State MN to terminate.

Ourada has a great float serve that stresses out opposing passers. I also really like how she knew how to get all her attackers involved and keep her opponent guessing. Ourada did it all for the Cardinals in their state appearance. She tallied 44 assists in both of their consolation matches. Ourada added 17 digs in their consolation semifinal.
Garr is so steady and consistent she’s almost automatic. She takes care of everything behind the 10 foot line and some in front. Garr has the experience of a veteran and led them all the way to a Class AA State Championship match. She did her part, recording 22 digs, 5 assists, and 3 aces in the championship match.
Kratochvil doesn’t hesitate to go for the deep line tip. She puts pressure on the opposing team with her serve. Kratochvil was unloading on the ball with ease. She made pass to attack look like practice. Kratochvil plays even bigger than her 5’10 stature. She had to go up against the relentless defense of Rush City and still terminated 20 kills in 3 sets.
