Breit Nelson | Prep Dig Scout
I love seeing Garr take on a different role this high school season. This is a selfless act and a true we over me, mentality. As a pin hitter she puts a great snap on top of the ball and see the block well to work around it.

Garr had a stellar high school season and is about to step into what should be a pretty dynamic club season with Northern Lights 17-1. After being named to the 2023 JVA Watchlist she made her committment to University of Minnesota. Since then she has made the AVCA Phenom Watch List, Class AA Showcase All-Tournament, Class AA All Tournament Team, and MNVBCA Class AA All-State. She is an elite athlete that will be fun to watch compete at the next level.

Garr is so steady and consistent she’s almost automatic. She takes care of everything behind the 10 foot line and some in front. Garr has the experience of a veteran and led them all the way to a Class AA State Championship match. She did her part, recording 22 digs, 5 assists, and 3 aces in the championship match.

, is staying consistent at #3. This makes sense since she is the ever consistent 1st contact and libero for Northern Lights top team. She was named to the 2023 JVA Watchlist and recently committed to Minnesota. Garr is an impressive defender that trains and competes at a high level to maintain this standing. She gets game saving touches, and makes tough serves look like free balls. Her team is in system a majority of the time because of her movement, technique and communication in the back court.

Garr has long been a steady force in the Northern Lights backcourt. We could see it with her team at the 15s level, and this libero has only elevated her game in 2023. She makes brilliant reads in the crosscourt and will not hesitate to jump in front of passers to take care of the first contact. GJNC represents a huge breakthrough for Garr and Northern Lights following their emergence in the final bracket.
