Hannah Heiss Hannah Heiss 5'9" | OH Montague | 2025 State MI , Jr. OH Western Michigan Christian
The Warriors had a balanced offensive showing in their sweep of Saugatuck in a D3 district final, but Heiss showed her full display of ability at the net. She mixed in offspeed and power swings while finishing consistently for a team-high 11 kills.
Madelyn Herzberger, Sr. OH Valley Lutheran
Valley Lutheran fought through a tough D3 district final on the road, beating New Lothrop in four sets. Herzberger came through with a lot of timely kills and had 15 in the match to lead the Chargers to the win.
Laina Kariniemi Laina Kariniemi 5'6" | S Calumet | 2024 State MI , Sr. S Calumet
The Copper Kings picked up a sweep of Hancock in the district final and Kariniemi was flawless in her performance. She picked up 38 assists in he win, with four players getting at least six kills. She also had four aces.
Zoey Kauffman, So. S Roscommon
The Bucks showed a lot of offensive pieces in their four-set district final win over Alcona. Kauffman really spread the ball out well and got it to the right spots. Three Bucks had at least seven kills, while two were in double-digits. Kauffman also had a pair of kills of her own.
Maya LaChance, So. MH/OH Royal Oak Shrine
Shrine continued to shine in the postseason this year, rallying together for a four-set win over Bishop Foley in a D3 district final. LaChance was key throughout the night as one of the offensive leaders, including six kills in the fourth and deciding set.
Brealyn Lasky Brealyn Lasky 5'6" | S Bronson | 2024 State MI , Sr. S Bronson
The Vikings looked very good in their district final win over Centreville, as their offense shows a lot of depth and balance. Lasky is the senior captain that gets the ball where it needs to go and also uses her high court IQ to make plays on her own. In the D3 district final she had 21 assists, eight digs, three kills and three assists.
Chelsea Russ Chelsea Russ 5'9" Hanover Horton | 2025 MI , Jr. OH Hanover-Horton
The Comets only needed three sets to beat Napoleon, but it was a competitive match. Russ came through with a nice performance to lead Horton in the win, as she had 14 kills and seven digs.
Zadie Schmitt, Jr. MH Byron
The Eagles bested Charyl Stockwell Academy in three sets to claim their D3 district championship. Schmitt was an imposing presence throughout the final. She tallied 10 kills offensively, but racked up a handful of blocks and tipped many other opposing attacks.
Braeden Tokar, Sr. MH Ovid-Elise
Tokar was dominant in Ovid-Elsie’s four-set win over Ithaca in a D3 district final. The senior was in a zone offensively, as she put together 22 kills to lead the Marauders to the victory.
Khloe Wilson, Jr. OH Beal City
The Aggies went five sets with Beaverton in a razor-thin D3 district final. Beal City was able to pull it out thanks to the play of Wilson, who put down 21 kills in the victory and was very active in her defensive play as well.
