Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Aaliyah Smith Aaliyah Smith 6'0" | OH Ridge Point | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-0 Outside (HS: Ridge Point/Club: Houston Juniors /Verbal: Rice University)
Aaliyah is currently ranked as the 57th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Ridge Point High School and also for the Houston Juniors volleyball club. Here is a refresher of an article that I wrote about her a few months back, “Miss Smith was voted by every scout in our state to be ranked and that says a lot when it is unanimous choice. As a pin attacker, she has the frame that will attract a lot of attention from college scouts. She truly knows hot to use the length in her arms as she reaches very high and contacts the ball at the peak of her reach. This makes it very difficult for blockers to time her attack. We have seen her get on top of the ball to put it straight down. But what truly impresses me is when she moves her hand contact to the bottom third of the ball and hits “high, hard, and deep” to the corners. Her ceiling is very high to keep improving and she can for sure help a college roster in a few years.” Well now we know which program she will be helping in a few years. We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at Rice University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Harper Hall Harper Hall 5'8" | S Highland Park | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-8 Setter (HS: Highland Park/Club: Texas Advantage Volleyball/Verbal: University of California at Santa Barbara)
Harper is currently ranked as the 66th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays volleyball at Highland Park High School and club for the famed Texas Advantage Volleyball program. Miss Hall is known to be very serious on the court and always ready to do battle against anyone. I love how focused she is on the task at hand and that is winning! She is the type of player that I would take to battle with me any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Her skill set is prime for high level and fast paced offense. Some people were just born to lead and that is exactly who Miss Hall is. I love how the ball comes off of her hands so fast and clean to any location and tempo. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Parker Duncan Parker Duncan 6'0" | OH Anderson | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-0 Outside (HS: Anderson/Club: Austin Juniors/Verbal: University of Arkansas)
Parker is currently ranked as the 39th best overall prospect in the state according to the 2025 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Anderson High School and plays club for the Austin Juniors volleyball program. Miss Duncan has skyrocketed up our state rankings list in the past two years. Truly coming into her own this past year, everyone has taken notice. Her offensive barrage started in the club season and continued straight into the school season. Her offers flooded in and she finally chose which school she will attend. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at University of Arkansas. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level. I think she is not done growing and getting better at her craft. It is my opinion that she will be a very valuable member of their roster in a few years.
We are just now getting caught up with all of the commitments that have happened this past year. There are many more amazing players that are getting offers.
