Top 250 Expo Dallas: Freshmen Setters

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I love watching these athletes grow at our expos. This weekend I covered the Top 250 Expo in Dallas/Fort Worth and the amount of talent in the area is just staggering. She is fast, light on her feet, and has great range. She can move the ball in any direction with force and speed. She communicates and hits her target well and has awesome serves, digs, and blocks. She has good energy on the court and is very aware of the positioning of her opponents. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Braedyn Holland</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holland is a 5'8" setter from Joshua High School. She has a great platform, has soft hands, and makes smart decisions about who to set on the court. She can block well and moves very quickly to get the ball where it needs to be during every rally. She digs really well and has a lot of determination to keep every ball up and ready to be played. She appears to get along well with the other players and communicates well. Kelly has great energy and speed. She has great parity and I love her speed. She is always upbeat on the court and can rally her teammates behind her. She makes good decisions about where to send the ball and has great timing when blocking. Lam is good at making adjustments and is good with out-of-system balls. She can send it over herself or set up another hitter. She has strong hands, great range, and really spreads the ball around to every hitter at appropriate times. She is very court-aware and knows just who to send the ball to for a kill. She is a skilled athlete and very quick to the ball. She can send an out-of-system ball to the corner of the opposing court with a smart push, and in normal situations set up a hitter perfectly. She has great reach and can really contribute to a block easily. She can dig up a blocked ball on her side of the court to give the rally a chance for a better outcome. She is always on the move and ready to make a play. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
