We have a new set of 2025 Player Rankings out, so that makes for a great opportunity to do our Prospect Roulette for December.

Here's how it works: I'll pop up a random number generator that includes the 2025 rankings. I'll generate 10 numbers and the 10 that come up will be the ranking of the player. I'll then spotlight those players in the article to help give them some more attention.

There's 141 players ranked in our Class of 2025. Let's see who has the lucky numbers this month:

68. [player_tooltip player_id='482158' first='Audrey' last='Thummel'], DS/L Notre Dame Prep/Michigan Elite

Thummel got the honor of wearing the NDP libero jersey this fall, joining a pretty impressive list of talents to wear that honor over the last decade. Thummel showed why she deserved that spot, as she played with a lot of energy and was a player that improved consistently throughout the year. Also like her predecessors, Thummel had a great serve.

136. [player_tooltip player_id='228627' first='Olivia' last='Saylor'], OH Jenison/FaR Out

Saylor contributed in a lot of different areas to Jenison during a strong 2023 season for the Wildcats. She was able to make an impact at times with her hitting, blocking and serving at different times throughout the year and should be able to build on that for a bigger role in 2024.

27. [player_tooltip player_id='231189' first='Josie' last='Noble'], MH Caledonia/MVA

Noble was a big part of a solid Caledonia front this past prep season. She was a real force for the Scots with 114 blocks and 229 kills. The 6'2 Noble plays well above the net and put up a wall defensively that caused a lot of problems for opposing hitters. She has a real knack for timing up her block well and that also translates to her hitting, as she had great timing with her setters.

97. [player_tooltip player_id='156310' first='Kylie' last='Kennedy'], DS/L Lakeland/L2

[player_tooltip player_id='156310' first='Kylie' last='Kennedy']

A real spark plug on the court, you never have to question Kennedy's heart and effort. The Eagles had to work in a lot of new starters this year, but Kennedy brought some experience and leadership to the floor. Lakeland remained a solid defensive team in the back row thanks to her play. She's got great form on her serve receive and she provides an energy boost for the rest of her teammates.

23. [player_tooltip player_id='156325' first='Molly' last='Reck'], OH Northville/Legacy

The prep season was a big opportunity for Reck to step up and she did just that for Northville. As the Mustangs had to turn to new outside hitters, Reck was up to the challenge and grew by leaps and bounds as a player throughout the year. She approached a 500-kill, 300-dig season as her all-around play allowed the Mustangs to return to Kellogg Arena. She was a All-Prep Dig D1 HM selection for her play.

19. [player_tooltip player_id='156340' first='Addison' last='Williams'], MB South Lyon East/Legacy

Williams is part of a towering South Lyon East front that garnered a league title in 2023. She led the team in hitting percentage this fall, putting up an impressive .360 mark. On top of that she was a big factor with her block. The 6'2” Williams can cover a lot of ground across the net. Her athleticism and explosiveness make her a great prospect at the next level.

1. [player_tooltip player_id='156295' first='Campbell' last='Flynn'], S Mercy/Legacy

There's not much you need to say about Flynn's fall. Already established as one of the best 2025 prospects in the nation as part of her play with Team USA's U19 squad, Flynn followed that up with a Division 1 state title for Mercy. She was dominant in her play at Kellogg Arena, earning MVP honors for the D1 Finals on top of D1 Player of the Year honors for her season.

71. [player_tooltip player_id='487143' first='Emma' last='Underwood'], MB Kalamazoo Christian

Underwood was one of the contributors to the Kalamazoo Christian team that secured the Division 3 title this fall. She hit an impressive .538 during the season which should give her something to build on in the offseason. Underwood has good footwork and is able to deliver some head-turning swings. Now she just needs to keep working for consistency and more reps.

140. [player_tooltip player_id='156318' first='Emmanuella' last='Neff'], MH South Christian

Emma Neff was able to come through with some solid finishes in the middle for South Christian this fall. She times up her swings well and places the shots in good location. As she got more confident throughout the year, her intensity also went up. It will be good to see her growth heading into next fall as she's sure to be a primary option for SC in 2024.

46. [player_tooltip player_id='189713' first='Addison' last='Ashley'], MH Saline/L2

Saline wasn't short on power hitting this fall and Ashley was one of the contributors in the middle. She stepped up as a sophomore when the team had injury issues and carried that into a consistent performance this fall. Ashley continues to have strong footwork and her blocking instincts get a little sharper each week.
