A big and strong middle hit with power and a high volleyball IQ. Has great footwork to the pins and gets good penetration on the net. Takes up a lot of space in the middle and will be a big-time player for the Bulldogs. Led all of the 2026 Class 3 players in kills with 421 and &nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='225325' first='Kate' last='Rubel'] – 6'0” – Cape Notre Dame</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rubel's is a basketball family, but Kate is one heck of a volleyball player. Stormed onto the volleyball scene last year and made a huge splash and then followed it up with an even better performance this season. Her athleticism is impressive, and she can get her head over the net blocking. She has a future in volleyball at the next level if that is her choice. Kate finished the season with 397 kills putting her career kills at 655 and also had a season-high 10 blocks in a match.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490119' first='Leah' last='White'] – 6'1” – Buffalo</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>She's still raw but her potential is off the charts. Who wants a 6'1” athletic middle with a high volleyball IQ who hasn't reached half her potential? I'm sure there are a lot of colleges needing a player like Leah. She finished the season with 330 kills, 71 blocks, 199 digs, and one of the team's best passers. I hear she's a solid baller with the orange ball too.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='484824' first='Khylie' last='Remmenga'] – 6'1” – Knob Noster</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A friend of mine told me about Khylie and he said she was a dandy. After watching her highlights, I see what she meant. She has the volleyball build. Tall at 6'1” with long arms, can fly and hits you know what out of the ball. Coaches should be all over Knob Noster trying to get her. She is going to be a tremendously dominating volleyball player. Finished the year with 328 kills and 74 blocks. Someone sign this one up!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='236998' first='Ava' last='Blankenship'] – 5'11” – Sullivan</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was impressed with Ava last year but unfortunately, I didn't get to watch her in person this season. Ava's a great middle for the Eagles and will develop into a beast. She's quick and bouncy in the middle. Moves extremely well to the pins and hits the fire out of the ball. Ava would put down 266 kills and had 57 rejections. Another player that's built for volleyball. Tall and a mean-hitting machine.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
