This was tops among all Class 5 2026 outsides. She is going to be an outstanding outside at the next level. Nice power, solid defense, and passing will keep getting better making her a tough left pin for LSN.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='219778' first='Tara' last='Venable'] – 5'11” - Ozark</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of my favorite 2026 outsides that I watched this season will be a big recruit. A powerful left pin with some mean shots. She can power through, hit around, or use high hands but my favorite shot is her sharp cross-court. She followed up a sensational freshman season with another solid year with 312 kills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='222069' first='Lauren' last='Ortwerth'] – 6'0” - Cor Jesu</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lauren is a strong athlete who hits a heavy ball and can do it from either pin. High reach and quick swing give her the power to get through the block or use the outside blocker to torch the ball line. Lauren finished with 235 kills and 131 digs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='490240' first='Brianna' last='Jones'] – 5'7” - Nerinx Hall</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Brianna made a big jump this year in her first full season playing varsity ball. She finished with 203 kills from 71 last year. Next year look for Brianna to play another move to a six-rotation outside for the Markers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Kyleigh Casey – 5'9” – Grain Valley</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kyleigh's big vertical whip of an arm swing made her a lethal weapon for Grain Valley. She's able to hit from anywhere on the net and has a very nice line shot on the right pin. Will be a force over the next two seasons for the Eagles.
