<p>Yesterday, we released <a href="https://prepdig.com/2023/12/nebraska-2025-rankings-update-state-tournament-additions-pt-1/">Part 1</a> of our look at the additions to the <a href="https://prepdig.com/nebraska/rankings/2025-rankings/">Nebraska Class of 2025 rankings</a> from this year's state tournament. Many more names remain on our list, so the grind continues.</p>

The list wouldn't be complete without Geisen, who guided the Wynot offense to the Class D2 semifinals. The Blue Devils ran a heavy dose of their attacks through the middle, and a lot of that has to do with Geisen's ability to get all attackers involved in less-than-ideal situations. Even when she's forced to drift off the net, Geisen can still set against the grain and find ways to open up lanes for her hitters. Wynot knows where it will be getting its senior leadership next year.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["494919"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Lincoln Pius X always finds a way to bring stock-rising liberos to the forefront. This was a breakout year for Reiling, who compiled nearly 400 digs as the Thunderbolts ended a three-year state tournament drought. The junior libero also managed to rack up a team-leading reception total, and that's the best way to ease passing burdens for your team's attackers. Reiling worked well in conjunction with Pius' young lineup, and that chemistry will build further with several familiar faces set to return. More gains are on the horizon in 2024.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["494896"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Carnie made the most of her opportunities with Norris this year. Her role as a reliever option on the right pin allowed Carnie to showcase her quick arm in a variety of situations. One of Carnie's best outings of 2023 came in a regular season contest against Bennington, where the junior pin hitter did most of her work on the left. So, with so much positional flexibility in Carnie's arsenal, Norris is looking at plenty of lineup options heading into next year.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["495073"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Crofton gets another one. The Warriors leaned on its six-rotation standouts during the 2023 season, and Wiebelhaus belongs in that conversation after she finished with triple-digit totals in kills and digs. She was also a remarkably productive wing blocker who did well to assist Crofton's physical athletes in the middle. This year's state tournament appearance might have been a surprise, but Wiebelhaus' strong all-around game helped legitimize Crofton's presence among Class C2's best.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["494886"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Get ready for a brief run through Grand Island. Waind joins the fray following a historic Class A tournament appearance from the 2023 Islanders. This hard-hitting opposite carried a lot more responsibilities than you might expect from a right-side hitter. Waind frequently joined the passing pattern and helped lock down Grand Island's first contact. Two-hitter rotations emerged as an Islander strength with Waind racking up a team-best 42 aces during the regular season. The Islanders will be out to prove that this year's breakthrough was no fluke, and Waind has a perfect opportunity to elevate her own game, too.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["494888"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"We'll go from Grand Island's right pin to the middle. Chrisman broke out as the Islanders' kills leader among middle blockers, and that's only part of her wide-ranging impact. Grand Island had a lethal transition behind Chrisman's quality block touches along the net. It's the kind of influential play that can't be measured in a box score. So, after Chrisman already exceeded expectations this year and broke into our rankings, we can only imagine what her senior campaign will bring.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["494907"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Did we mention that Lincoln Pius X churns out defensive talent? Abel joins Reiling to make two 2025 additions from the Thunderbolt backcourt. While Reiling donned the libero jersey for much of the year, Abel was Pius' consistent spark off the bench in more ways than one. She tied for the team lead in aces during the regular season, which is already above and beyond what you'd ask from a DS. But Abel also offered value through her lockdown floor defense, and she could make it happen in any zone along the end line. It's hard not to get excited about the Thunderbolts next year, especially with so much continuity in floor defense and serve receive.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["494900"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"The state tournament brings in star players from every corner of the stateu002du002dincluding the panhandle. Hergenreder led the way in Scottsbluff's junior class with nearly 200 kills on the year and a hefty ace total to her credit. She stood out as one of the most physical attackers in the Bearcat frontcourt, which helped Hergenreder put away plenty of out-of-system swings in 2023. With so many impactful seniors departing from this year's squad, expect Hergenreder to see a huge uptick in attacking volume next fall.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_8_player":["494909"],"_player_evaluations_8_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"We've already mentioned that Bennington wasn't afraid to mix up its frontcourt personnel this year, so let's bring another one of its middle blockers into the spotlight. Apley chipped in with some strong kills in front of the setter, and she was particularly good at tooling whatever hands were in front of her. The Badgers consistenly fed off of Apley's explosiveness whenever she was on the court, especially on her patented sharp-angle shots. Apley's role will likely expand in 2024 as Bennington looks to keep building its postseason streak.","_player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_9_player":["494926"],"_player_evaluations_9_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_9_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_9_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_9_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_9_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_9_evaluation":"Gretna East knew how to feed the middles in its first-ever season, and that was to Stockstill's benefit. The junior attacker surged onto the scene with the second-leading block total for the Griffins and a ton of clutch kills in late-season action. Stockstill worked hard to make herself available in transition and showed more finesse than you'd expect from a middle blocker. Her tips right over opposing blockers were tough to defend, and there's still more room to grow as Gretna East embarks on Year 2.","_player_evaluations_9_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":10,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-658d1120ce06b"} /-->
