Blazer is one of those players who shouldn’t be getting her ranking introduction but here we are. She was a valuable piece to Mill Valley’s state title in 2023 and earn many postseason accolades. She had over 200 kills and just shy of 100 blocks in her junior campaign. She enters the rankings at 28.
I didn’t know much about Kitchaiya but it was her play at the Prep Dig 250 Expo that saw her stock rise a bit and she enters the rankings at 33. She plays on the KC Power 17-2 team, and considering many of the defenders on the 1 team is ranked higher, it’s evidence to me she is a strong back row player. It’s easy to get lost in the process but if coaches give her a look, you will see what we see which she is a hard-nosed defender who makes plays.

Nash is a defender who plays for KC Power also, on their 1’s team. She also stood out with her play at the expo earlier this month as another gritty defender. She is another player stuck behind some strong players at the high school level but can make a name for herself on the club circuit if we mirrors the play we saw recently. She enters the rankings for the first time at 47.

The 6’1″ Green introduced herself to us with a strong junior season for Andover that saw her play a huge role for a state qualifying team. She had over a .300 hitting percentage and totaled 297 kills. She surely earned some looks from some college programs and join the rankings at 51.
The Nemaha Central standout makes her presence known at 66 in her first ranking. She averaged over 4 kills per set and finished the year with 396 kills. Her defense was also on display as she racked up 475 digs and 64 blocks. She is the definition of a competitors and brings her best each night out.

King is another player who impressed and caught our eye at our most recent expo. She was one of the standout setters on display and she did enough to jump into our rankings at 67. If you read our recap of the Kansas/Missouri showcase you’d recall her leadership and hands were among some of the top qualities she showed that morning.
