Gardner makes a splash in her ranking introduction coming in at 14. The Kickapoo setter played dual roles as an attacker in 2023. She dished out 466 assists, while also earning 304 kills on the year. Her passion and leadership on the court is an added asset as she makes those around her better.
Making her debut in the rankings at the 16th spot is Jefferson City’s Mitchell. The RS/S is another dual threat player on the court, evidence by her stat lines this fall. While hitting she put down 342 balls on the season. When she rotated to the setter role, she did her part with 312 assists.
Highlights
Megan Howard Megan Howard 5’10” | OH Bolivar | 2025 State MO enters in the top 20 at 20 after a strong season at Bolivar. At 5’10”, she joins the previous two players as prospects who can do damage in multiple ways. On offense, she tallied 433 kills and 319 assists. On defense, she was all over the place grabbing 437 digs and 37 blocks.
Horn made the most of her first year of varsity ball after seeing limited action behind a veteran team in 2022. She was key on a state champion Blair Oaks team in 2023. She enters the ranking at 24 after a year in which she garnered some postseason awards. Her stat totals include 351 kills, 63 aces, and 155 digs. If she develops as a passer and defender, her stock could rise more.
Highlights
Rounding out the highest debut players at 34 is Germann. The Southern Boone product doubled her kill output in 2023, finishing the year with 379 kills. The 5’11” athlete can swing in the middle and on the pin currently but I could see her being primarily a pin player at the next level as she’s shown she can defend with over 300 digs.
