Texas is second to none when it comes to our players earning the right to play at the next level. The offers for our wonderful Texas players keep coming. We love to see the pictures and news of these players as they are achieving their dreams. We are proud to announce some news from the recruiting front. There are three more players who have just committed to college volleyball programs recently and we would like to share the news. These young ladies have been hard at work during the club and high school volleyball season. They also have been hard at work on the recruiting scene getting offers from schools and have made their college decisions. Help us in congratulating them on the amazing news.
Munachiso Mmuo [2024] 5-11 Right Side (HS: Cedar Park/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Dartmouth College)
Muna is currently an unranked prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Cedar Park High School and also for the awesome Austin Skyline club program. Miss Mmuo is able to play multiple positions along the net and does it very well. As an attacker, she does a great job of getting completely on top of the ball and attacks with a ton of power. She rises up off of the ground really well and effortlessly. I love how versatile she is in the middle and on the pins. This gives her team a ton of options offensively and her blocking ability as a big plus. Timing is one aspect that Muna excels at when she is slowing down opposing attackers. Every skill she possesses is very solid and she will definitely be as asset at the next level. We are extremely proud to announce that she has decided to play volleyball at Dartmouth College. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing at the next level.
Ruby Rumohr Ruby Rumohr 5'10" | S Blum | 2024 State TX [2024] 5-9 Setter (HS: Blum/Club: NRG/Verbal: Texas Wesleyan University)
Ruby is currently ranked as the 98th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She stars on the volleyball court at Blum High School and club for the NRG volleyball program. Miss Rumohr has been balling for the last few years and we have definitely taken notice. Every year she seems to just get better and better with her ability to move the ball around to all hitters. Setters are usually judged by their unique ability to make people around them better and that is exactly who Ruby is in the position. She is a natural leader of women and has been doing that for every squad she is on. UIL named her as the Most Valuable Player of the State Tournament this past season as she led her team to a State Championship. She also set a new 1A state record with 45 assists. We are proud to announce that she recently committed to playing volleyball at Texas Wesleyan University. Please help us congratulate her on achieving her dream of playing college volleyball.
Hailey Baker [2024] 5-10 Outside/Defensive Specialist (HS: Rockwall Heath/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Cameron University)
Hailey is currently an unranked prospect in the state according to the 2024 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Rockwall Heath High School and plays club for the Dallas Skyline volleyball program. Miss Baker is a very tough and solid volleyball player who has exceptional ball control in every aspect of the game. As an attacker, she can get up with the best of them and drive the ball downward with a lot of power. She is also great at power-pushing the ball to a deep corner. Hailey is a beast at attacking when out of system and still puts over a hard driven ball from way off the net. She is a true six rotation outside who can help a team in serve receive. We are proud to announce that she has committed to playing volleyball at Cameron University. Please help us congratulate her on realizing her dream of playing at the next level.
