Rumohr guided Blum to the State Tournament title for a second-straight title with a masterclass in the final against Harrold, which was won by the Lady Cats in four sets. The technical and emotional leader of the team, the senior setter excelled in her role, contributing all across the board to Blum’s success. Rumohr set a new record for assists at the State Tournament in Division 1A matches with 45 and also registered 21 digs, four kills, three aces and two blocks in a tremendous performance that deserverdely earned her the MVP award.

Blum’s influential setter had a terrific performance in the semifinals, helping her team get a sweep against Neches and giving it a chance to defend the Division 1A title they won last year. Rumohr was excellent with her ball distribution, getting all her five starting hitters involved in the game and connected particularly well with Addison Willingham, who led the Bobcats with 14 kills. Besides getting a double-double of 29 assists and 13 digs, Rumohr also contributed to the team’s scoring efforts with a pair of kills and two aces.

Rumohr has been in the last three State Tournament finals with Blum and will try to help the team defend the title they won last year in her senior season. She offers a lot to the Bobcats, ranging from accurate and smart setting and point-scoring to invaluable leadership. Rumohr is a hard-worker on the court and has a central role in everything the team does on the court. She’s also been very productive for Blum, having tallied 1,081 assists, 106 kills, 343 digs, 25 blocks and 49 aces this season alone.

Blum’s standout setter led her team to a sweep of Klondike in the second semifinal in the 1A Division. The Bobcats, who will play in their third-straight Championship Match, benefited from an excellent all-around effort from their star setter, who stuffed the stat sheet. Rumohr had an impressive 28 assists and also came up big on the backcourt, with 13 digs. She rounded up a huge performance with four kills (and no hitting errors), two aces and two blocks.
