The Class of 2026 was well represented at the Michigan Top 250 Expo this past Saturday.

With close to 40 prospects on display, there were a lot of good players to evaluate.

Here's the second part of our 2026 player evaluations.

[player_tooltip player_id='487079' first='Jillian' last='Gibbs'], MH Orchard Lake St. Mary's/L2

[player_tooltip player_id='487079' first='Jillian' last='Gibbs']

Gibbs is part of the talented OLSM roster and she's definitely a bright star for the Eaglets. The 5'11” middle has a long reach and wingspan, allowing her to take up a lot of space at the net, both with her attacks and her blocking. Her power was among the most consistent of the middles at the expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='226897' first='Charlotte' last='Gramzow'], DS/L Lutheran Northwest/Michigan Elite

Gramzow was an impressive all-around athlete that excelled defensively. Her first contact was always strong and she had a good feel for attack angles and placement from her peers to get to the ball quickly. She's got a good first step and can cover a lot of ground quickly in the back row.

[player_tooltip player_id='261194' first='Marleigh' last='Hemstreet'], S Linden/L2

Hemstreet was able to mix up her sets and worked a lot of different speeds and lofts. She didn't have to display much energy to put up a good set and looked very relaxed at times when running an offense. At 5'10” Hemstreet also can bring a lot to the blocking effort at the net.

[player_tooltip player_id='490044' first='Kennedy' last='Hopson'], S Cass Tech/Fairplay

Hopson was someone that just kept drawing eyes. She's a great all-around athlete that looks like she can make a difference anywhere on the court. Her athleticism allowed her to make a lot of plays from the setter position, both offensively and defensively. Her quickness and agility leads me to believe Hopson could excel as a multi-position player.

[player_tooltip player_id='443098' first='Isabella' last='Hormillosa'], OH Cousino/Legacy

Hormillosa stands just 5'5”, which can make it intimidating to battle at the net with her longer peers, but she shows a high court IQ while utilizing her athleticism to make plays. She can dial up the power, but smartly plays offspeed shots and tough angles to move around blockers and finish points. She also shows a lot of good technique and execution in her passing.

[player_tooltip player_id='226903' first='Reese' last='Jones'], S TC St. Francis/Northshore

[player_tooltip player_id='226903' first='Reese' last='Jones']

Jones is a well-balanced player that makes good decisions and can impact the game in all phases of the game. Her setting is smooth and she can hit all the locations. Her defensive play is crisp and she plays under control in the back row. On top of that, Jones was one of the strongest servers at the expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='489939' first='Vivian' last='Jones'], OH Brighton/Michigan Elite

Jones was highly committed to her blocking. She was one of the strongest blockers at the expo and had great timing on her effort. She also applied that intensity and athleticism to her swings. At 6'1”, Jones plays above the net and can power through blocks. Jones is also a solid defender. Her first contact was impressive for a player of her length.

[player_tooltip player_id='490040' first='Jordan' last='Kaplan'], S Walled Lake Northern/Team D

Kaplan is an eager player that wants to improve. She took well to her coaching and was able to apply it quickly. At times, her speed and tempo was a little behind her hitters, but she picked it up as she got more comfortable and had a better feel for her hitters. Kaplan has the skills to succeed, she just needs to remain confident from the start and not be timid to work quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='490046' first='Madeleine' last='Koch'], DS/L Marian/Michigan Elite

Koch is a well-coached player that looks very smooth in her defensive execution and play. She instinctively knows where to be on the court to make a dig or keep a rally going and she isn't afraid to take on a big swing. Koch's definitely going to be another strong defensive asset for the Marian program.

[player_tooltip player_id='490024' first='Alexandra' last='Leggett'], RS Novi/L2

Leggett moves along the net well and is able to dial up the speed and velocity on her swing. She can improve on some of her out-of-system swings, but she did show growth in that area as the expo went on. I like Leggett's ability to really come down on the ball when she gets her timing down.
