Cox is a 5’10” junior setter from Highlands High School. Cox was one of the best I saw at the expo this weekend. She is positioned correctly every time, uses her knowledge of the court well, trusts her hitters to be where they are supposed to be, and puts up a good ball then leaves the rest up to her hitters. She has soft hands and great control over what she is doing. She has good parity and wonderful placement. She can pop the ball up nicely when setting behind herself. She gets a good arch on the ball and gives her hitters the best possible chance of being successful. She talks to her team while on the court directing traffic also. She is a good choice for recruiting to play at the next level.
Shannon Tucker Shannon Tucker 5'5" Eminence | 2025 KY
Tucker is a 5’5″ junior setter from Eminence High School. Tucker is fast to the ball and has a great platform. She has great range and gives her hitters something to work with when she sets them. She really spreads the ball around to all of her available hitters when on the court making her a very effective and efficient setter.
Cameron Belknap
Belknap is a 5’8″ setter from Big Walnut High School’s sophomore class in Ohio. Belknap is best when on the move. She is very quick and always gets under the ball for the second touch. She has good range, soft hands, and can spread the ball around well. She is a smart athlete and knows when to dump and when not to. She has a good platform and digs well. She serves sharply and got at least one kill at the expo.
Greer is a 5’10” setter from Firefly Christian Academy’s sophomore class. Greer was best during scrimmaging. She impressed me with how far she could send the ball to a hitter, her ability to dig off the ground, and her speed to get to the ball. She serves well and is a pretty big block at the net.
Kirsten Kemper Kirsten Kemper 5'10" | S Seton | 2026 State OH
Kemper is a 5’11” setter from the sophomore class at Seton High School. Kemper is long and has great reach. She gets to the ball easily and has soft hands to put the right amount of power, speed, and spin on a set for her hitters. She has good range and delivers to the right height for all of the different hitters she worked with at the expo. She was talking to all of her hitters after setting them to make sure it was what they wanted and how they wanted to be set. She made adjustments well and seemed very successful with all of the hitters she worked with. I would pick this setter to be on my team, if I had one, because I would know I could trust her to work well with all of the other athletes on the court and she would do a good job.
Shannon Stevison Shannon Stevison 5'5" | S South Oldham | 2026 KY
Stevison is a 5’5″ setter from the sophomore class at South Oldham High School. Stevison has great hands, is quick, and has good footwork. She makes really smart decisions about what to do with the ball. She is a great communicator and talks to her hitters which helps everyone perform better. She is a very effective setter.
