Kemper reads defenses well and consistently finds the right teammates to set. Kemper executes a number of short and long sets including back sets for slides. She made solid first contacts all game only diving out of necessity. Kemper is also very enthusiastic on the court. Kemper said the setters take their roles very seriously figuring out who to set in tough situations, watching opposing middle hitters and figuring out if they need to reverse the flow or make simple sets. Kemper added the setters have faith it hot hitters even if they’re facing double and triple blocks.

Kemper continues to establish herself as a well-rounded setter with a lot of tools and really good effectiveness in her effort. Her confidence exudes in her command of the court and of an NKYVC offense that has a lot of weapons. As she shares the setting role for this group, their ball control is solid, which makes the setters job more manageable to keep their tempo fast and their options varied through both pins, which she does a great job at in all locations. Competing for Seton during the high school season, Kemper was a key factor towards their DI state title run and returns with a solid core group in the fall to make another go at it.

Kemper primarily set for Seton during the Division I state championship run. Kemper still does a lot of setting for the 17-1 Tsunami team, but shows some versatility as an outside hitter. Kemper makes good first passes. As a setter, Kemper continues to mix things up well. She has a solid jump set to put more power on balls and help out the hitters.

The Saints can rely on Kemper to make the right decisions running the offense on a nightly basis. She puts balls on target at great angles. Kemper also does a great job trying to put balls where her teammates tell her to put them.
