With five teams in the 18s and 17s divisions at Boiler Juniors, it's tough to whittle the long list of available recruits down to just a few. Listed below are the top class-of-'25 athletes available for commitments playing in West Lafayette this spring.

A couple of players immediately stick out when looking at this roster. [player_tooltip player_id='260988' first='Ashlyn' last='Minniear'] ('25, 5-9 OH, Frontier) is a six-rotation, primary-passing outside that regularly hits all angles with pace. She's played the majority of her career in middle back on defense, making a "pipe" attack her primary back row takeoff point. I like the heavy ball she hits (no matter where she hits it), her abilities on first contact, and her willingness to hit the floor and do the dirty work to get the job done. She'll be passing those dimes to setter [player_tooltip player_id='487348' first='Sofia' last='Andrews'] ('25, 5-6 S, Lebanon), who can locate the ball with the best setters in this class. She's also a defensive-minded setter, relying on her instincts and fast feet to get her to the ball.

The top 17s team at Boiler Juniors has a ton of talent. I've been high on [player_tooltip player_id='161191' first='Taylor' last='Cripe'] ('25, 5-9 OH, South Newton) for some time now, and for obvious reasons. The ball just sounds different coming off of her hand, and she hits every shot in the book. Every swing she takes is max effort, and every approach jump is at max height. [player_tooltip player_id='172316' first='Ava' last='Gutt'] ('25, 5-11 OH, Hamilton Southeastern) is listed as an outside, but could legitimately play any front row position she wants. Her length is her strength, and can hit over blocks just as well as she can block pretty much anyone that comes at her. A third (and very effective) outside dots this roster in [player_tooltip player_id='260981' first='Abigail' last='Kaminski'] ('25, 5-10 OH, Franklin Central). Her pass-to-attack skills are second to none on this roster, and her ability to see the floor to adjust her shot has "next level" written all over it.
