I want to highlight some of those new athletes on my radar or athletes who improved and impressed me throughout the weekend. These athletes caught my eye numerous times during the tournament in both pool play and championship play.
Della Smith Della Smith 5'10" | OH Marshfield | 2026 WI
Della Smith Della Smith 5'10" | OH Marshfield | 2026 WI
Della was so impressive during the Resolution. She was one of my favorite finds as a 6-rotation player. She is a solid passer, competitive server, and efficient pin hitter. Whether tooling the block or ripping the ball down a seam, Della knows how to earn points in every rotation. She is a reliable player and go-to hitter for this talented Ice team.
Carlee was electric on the court at the Resolution. Once she got warmed up, she was unstoppable, and she caused a lot of problems for opposing defenses. Carlee balances her shots and speed well. She is another 6-rotation pin that was valuable in all of her skills.
Eden is a powerful middle blocker in her first year at Sting. She does a good job mixing up her shots and utilizing every set she is given. Eden is incredibly athletic and worked hard to put up a block across the net. Eden is a player to watch in this class and will be a player on the rise.

Kayla is an absolute powerhouse athlete. She is not an athlete you want to give an open net to. She has a great connection with her setters and had some incredible swings over the weekend. Kayla impressed me in every aspect of her play and she is a great addition to this Sting United team.
Kaitlynn is a clean and efficient libero. She has a simple platform and quick reactions to the ball. Kaitlynn is also an energizer on the court and makes tough digs look easy. She sets herself and her team up for success in serve receive and defense.

Amy Hein
Amy was one of the most efficient middles at the Resolution. She made big plays as a blocker and hitter. Amy has a huge vertical and is an energizer and natural leader on the court. She leads by example and is always engaged and ready to make plays for her team.
Vivie is a player who knows how to earn points. She is playing up an age division on the Elevate 17s squad but plays like a seasoned athlete. She has a high volleyball IQ and great court awareness. Vivie’s vertical and explosive approach helps her power balls down on the court.
Maddy absolutely runs the show when she is on the court. She is fast, precise, and confident. Maddy makes some amazing plays and feeds her hitters near-perfect sets, whether on or off the net. Maddy is an energizer and leader on the court and is a very talented setter.

Malena has taken the court by storm recently. She is an athletic middle who is making her name known. Malena has high contact and a quick arm swing. She also puts up an absolutely massive block. She has a great connection with her setters and mixes up her shots. Malena has the potential to be one of the top middles in this class, and I am excited to see her continue to play at a really high level.
I saw Kaylie on the right side and what really set her apart was her natural blocking timing and talent. She read sets so well and set up an efficient and solid block. Kaylie has a lethal line shot. She was an impact player on offense and she caught my eye numerous times.
