has been pretty special to watch. She was on our radar at Prep Dig Events when she was a 15s player and now she is rising among one of the top middle blockers in the Class of 2026 in the state. She had a ton of momentum from nationals this past summer playing for MKE Sting 16 Black. She is a lengthy 6’2 who has to be touching over ten feet. Her block causes plenty of problems where she can get out of her block and terminate in transition anywhere along the net to score points.

Eden has just exploded onto the scene in the last year. Do not leave an open net on her. She will take advantage, and you will hear the thump of the ball hitting the floor. She also puts up a massive block. Eden is a dual offense and defense threat with a high volleyball IQ.

Roethel’s stock is continuing to rise in the Class of 2026 where the 6’1 middle blocker has skyrocketed in 2024. She has the athleticism and length to score at a high level and is also a high level blocker. Her upside is a bit scary. She is still “new” to the national level where she continues to improve each time she steps on the court. There are plenty of athletes on this team that college coaches are going to need on their radar.

Eden Roethel is getting better and better out of the middle for Milwaukee Sting 16 Black. I saw her as a 15s, looking long and athletic, but now she is really starting to find her physicality at the net. She has to be touching near ten feet and is swinging with aggression. The ceiling is really high for the Living Word Lutheran (WI) sophomore. She will be in St. Louis this upcoming weekend along with plenty of athletic, high impact players from the Milwaukee area.
