The 15-18 age divisions play at the Fieldhouse and bring together clubs from all over the state. Here are several players who can make a big difference for their teams over the weekend.
Skagen is a 5’9 OH who has a high arm swing and a vertical that allows her to play big at the net. She is part of a talented NPJ Seattle 17 National team that is seeded 2nd overall at the NWPL. Skagen has an urgent transition when she gets outside, she gives her setter a nice window to work with and she can bang the ball off the block or make the defense scramble with well placed off-speed shots. She is a six-rotation player with a well developed skill set in serve receive and the backrow.

Musser was a part of an excellent Ellensburg team during the high school season, and the 5’11 outside contributed to the Bulldogs success down the stretch and into the State Tournament. Her No Limits 17-1 squad is seeded 7th overall, and will have to work hard to hold it against a field of 55 teams in the 15-18 age bracket. Musser will switch up her offensive shots, mixing in swing to the angle and the line with a very soft top she drops straight over the block. When she is in the middle back she can deliver from the pipe, giving the No Limits setters another attacking option.
Salinger plays for the WVBA 18 Adidas team that comes into the NWPL ranked first overall. The Oak Harbor outside is absolutely smoking the ball on the pins, and is a rising player in the class of 2025. Salinger has a solid overall game, with good passing form and strong defensive fundamentals. Her dynamic attacking gives this WVBA team a terminal pin in every rotation.

The School of Volleyball pin plays the game with a smart approach and a shot makers mentality. Scott will work the hard angle, take swings from the pipe and deliver the now rare top spin jump serve. Her SOV 18 squad is looking to make a strong impression at the NWPL this season, and her offense will be a big part of the game plan. Scott is a 2024 prospect who has shown tremendous improvement over the past two seasons.
Gardner is an outside from Sedro Wooley with a thundering arm swing that she loads up with a fast, powerful approach. She will bring the hammer for her Skagit Island 18-2 team this weekend, the 5’9 2025 will need to score to keep SIVA in the top division of the NWPL. Gardner can play setter and the right side, it’s not often a setter with a versatile skill set like Gardner is also able to bring terminal swings from the pin.

ONE MORE TO WATCH: Kylie Munday- 2024 Setter- Post Falls, ID
Munday is headed to San Diego to play her college ball after garnering just about every possible honor during her high school career in Idaho. The future Torero has strong hands and is deceptive in her delivery- she holds blockers and delivers to her attackers with tremendous accuracy and tempo. Munday has the size and athleticism to play the 5-1, she will deliver a big block and stuff down a joust at the net. Make the effort to watch Munday and the Renovators 18 Kari team play if you are in Auburn this weekend.
