Here is a quick look at six athletes from the western part of the state among that group.
Jadence Stewart, 5’10”, OH/DS, Greeley County, ‘26
Stewart finished with an impressive total of 363 kills in 79 sets for the Jackrabbits. Stewart has a hard and accurate serve which resulted in 77 aces. She will have ample opportunity to hone and evolve her skills with two years of high school ball ahead of her.
Alexis Moore Alexis Moore 5'10" | MB Ellsworth | 2026 State KS , 5’10”, MH, Ellsworth, ‘26
Moore has a big reach and can disrupt the opposition’s attack with her blocking skills. She finished with 352 kills and 79 blocks in 82 sets played for the Bearcats. Moore is currently a front-row-only player, so improving her defensive skills will improve her recruitment stock.
Halle Mizner Halle Mizner 5'9" | OH Rock Hills | 2026 State KS , 5’9”, OH, Rock Hills, ‘26
Mizner had an outstanding sophomore season for the Grizzlies. She finished with 274 kills in 80 sets played. Her approach and jumping ability are what makes her dangerous. Mizner can play six rotations as evidenced by her season totals of 392 serve receptions and 316 digs.
Kyndal Moore Kyndal Moore 5'11" | MB Ellinwood | 2026 State KS , 6’0”, MH/S, Ellinwood, ‘26
Moore is a dual-threat athlete who can set and hit. The six-foot sophomore registered 264 kills and 369 assists in 87 sets played for the Eagles. It will be interesting to see which position college coaches envision her playing moving forward.
Brooklyn Dye, 5’2”, OH, Cimarron, ‘26
Dye can jump out of a gym. She racked up 263 kills in 84 sets played for Cimarron. She also plays solid defense collecting 341 serve receptions and 211 digs.
Ella Risley, 5’5”, OH/DS, Caldwell, ‘26
Risley had a solid sophomore campaign in which she finished with a total of 225 kills. She is also a solid back row player recording 344 digs and 531 serve receptions. Risley can hit, but I project that her future is as a back-row defender.
