16 Open Blaze
The 16-1 at Munciana has a ton of talent, most of which came here from other clubs. This is one of the first “super teams” I’ve seen this season, and I can’t wait to see how they mesh. Running the show is Reese Blanchard Reese Blanchard 5'10" | S Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-9 S, Brebeuf), a transfer from Academy. Her fiery demeanor and speedy feet pair nicely with her quick and accurate hands. She’ll have more than enough chances to show off that second contact when your first contact is coming from Maye McConnell Maye McConnell 5'3" | DS/L Hamilton Southeastern | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-4 DS/L, Hamilton Southeastern). A transfer from Rev, Maye is very familiar with playing upper-level ball and should do fine in the open schedule the Blaze will play. Carmen Horn Carmen Horn 5'9" | MB Pendleton Heights | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-9 MB, Pendleton Heights) is a quick and explosive middle that, although undersized, will use her volleyball IQ to terminate regularly. Madison Fritch Madison Fritch 5'8" | OH Guerin Catholic | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-8 OH, Guerin Catholic) is a transfer from Munciana Indy , so she must be excited to be part of the big club. She’s a primary passing outside that has a quick arm to go along with her speedy and athletic nature. Mya Trammell Mya Trammell 5'4" | DS/L Burris | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-4 OH/DS, Burris) earned a state title this past fall with Muncie Burris as a six rotation, primary passing outside. Don’t be fooled by her size—she’s more than capable of making up for it in her athleticism and volleyball acuity. Finally, Lindsay Snyder Lindsay Snyder 5'9" | OH Empowered | 2026 State IN (’26, 5-9 OH, Bishop Dwenger) is a recent transfer from Empowered. Playing bigger than her frame because of her jumping ability, Lindsay is another six rotation left pin on this roster with the potential to never be removed from the game. I like her athleticism and volleyball IQ, as it will carry her far in her recruiting process.
