The championship came down to the very last points, and not a single team made it through without dropping a match. It was so fun to see teams with such head-to-head competition this early in the season. Here are some stud standouts from the 16 Open Division!
Harmonee took control of the net right from the first point. She had some great shots and was a reliable pin hitter for her team. Harmonee had a consistent contact and was great at adjusting to out-of-system sets. She did not make a lot of errors but knew how to be aggressive. She was one of the key point scorers for Elevate.
I have had the opportunity to see Sydney play before, but she is looking better than ever. She has a quick release on the ball, was comfortable and confident running the court, and made some tough passes playable. She worked hard on every single play and would run down any ball. Sydney is a very talented setter who has picked up the speed of the offense she runs and was very impressive early in the season.

Evelyn really caught my eye. She is a lefty-pin hitter who can play all six rotations. She has a high vertical and can play all six rotations. She has an insane amount of potential and really helped round out a talented group of hitters on FC Elite 16 White.

Elizabeth is a smart but powerful pin. She took a lot of swings throughout the tournament and was a reliable player in serve receive, on defense, and on offense. I have a feeling this is just the start for Elizabeth as she continues to show how impactful she can be on the court.

Mia jumped right into a big role for Sting 16 Black. She played all six rotations and was dominant in each one. From her serve receive to her offense, Mia had a positive impact on nearly every point. She was aggressive with her swings and confident in taking back-row attacks. Mia is a powerhouse pin who is disciplined and can compete at a very high level.

Lizzy was a serving specialist for Oconomowoc this season, and wow, has that experience translated over to the club in a positive way. She was serving missiles consistently. Nearly every time she went up to serve, she racked up 2-3 aces minimum. Lizzy also ran the court very well as a setter, putting up great sets. She really impressed me in her all-around play at the Resolution.
Elaina was all over the court. She was fearless on defense and would do just about anything to keep a ball alive. She made great plays with her hands as well and was not afraid to throw herself in front of big hitters. Elaina brought a lot of energy and grit to the court and was a stud player this weekend.

Sari Marks Sari Marks 6’0″ | S Sun Prairie West | 2026 State WI continues to improve and impress every time I see her play. She has a quick touch on the ball and is very hard to read as a setter. When she is in the front row, she can terminate across the net and seems to have limitless endurance. She is a play maker as a setter and hitter and a reliable force for this talented Sting United team.
