A member of Mintonette's top 15U team, she and her squad finished 5th overall at the recent Central Zone event and they can next be seen at three consecutive qualifiers in March including in Orlando, St. Louis, and Chicago. Although undersized by some standards for the middle role, she is athletic with physical tools and contact point to make good contributions offensively. She earned time this past fall as a member of the Archbishop Hoban varsity squad. Her ceiling is high and we will likely see her stock rise over the club season and into the duration of her prep career. Upcoming events for them include the Windy City Qualifier, OVR Bid, and Nike Open in Cleveland. Her length is one of her best physical assets and she uses it well to create a high contact point attacking through quick options around the setter. She earned over 100 kills in her first varsity season for Anderson and should improve the quality of her point scoring as well as assertiveness to be a factor in the middle phase on both sides of the ball. Murray and her team will be at MEQ, Big South, and NEQ national-level events in the coming weeks. She can swing for points, step in and set, and also provide stability when passing as well as good pressure when serving. She is a key pin attacker for this team and can create pace when she is elevated, on balance, and open to the ball. She also has good court vision and control to swing with range that is developing or she can use finesse to keep the opponent off balance. Their upcoming schedule will see them take on teams in Orlando, Chicago and then back in Ohio at the OVR Bid and Nike Open tournaments. Although no their primary option, she was effective with her opportunities as she terminated at a 50% kill rate. A 6'0 middle, Turvey has good court awareness and can control her movement to swing with intention to find space among the defense. She will increase her impact if she can generate more arm speed and torque for power.
