With the number of teams playing in regionals this coming weekend, it's important to name as many athletes as possible that could make a run at a bid at either Capitol Sports Center or Armstrong Pavilion. Here are three more teams, with two players each that could propel their respective squads to Vegas in the summer.

This particular squad plays more like a 17-1.5 than a traditional 2s program. I'm especially looking forward to their ball control, specifically [player_tooltip player_id='512152' first='Adelyn' last='Wyndham'] ('25, 5-6 DS/L, Avon) and Bradee McDonald ('25, 5-2 DS/L, Northview). Because of the massive amount of defensive talent on the Purple squad, it's a real possibility that either of these two defenders could be on a 1s program at most other clubs in the state. That being said, both are accustomed to high level play, both in high school and in club. If anything, they're more than prepared to play at the next level.

I'll focus on attackers with this roster, since there are two that do different things but still find ways to score points. [player_tooltip player_id='435485' first='Karli' last='Klimowicz'] ('25, 5-7 OH, Crown Point) has the ability to be a primary-passing, six-rotation outside at the next level. Her quick arm and quicker feet beat a lot of blocks she sees on a day-in, day-out basis at all levels. One kid I haven't mentioned is [player_tooltip player_id='512154' first='Samantha' last='Rhody'] ('25, 6-1 MB/RS, Lake Central). Miss Rhody currently plays as an M2 for this roster, but might be best suited to be a right side in a 6-2 or a three rotation right side at the next level. She's big, has a strong upper body, and reads plays well, making her defensive middle presence known. Moving her to the right pin would be an easy move for this kid, as she can take up space on the block and has the size to make opposing players think twice.

Two Hamilton County kids have caught my eye on this roster. [player_tooltip player_id='512156' first='Ellesyn' last='Odom'] ('25, 5-11 RS, Hamilton Southeastern) is a lefty banger that plays bigger than her frame and hits all angles from everywhere. She has the smarts and the athleticism to put balls away regularly, and can defend against opposing outsides by reading and reacting. Another I found and underestimated was [player_tooltip player_id='512158' first='Jurnee' last='Hall'] ('25, 5-8 OH, Fishers). She has self-admittedly mentioned her transition to the outside is in process, but she was placed in the middle for one reason only---her attack touch is north of ten feet! A recent website publication has her at 10-3, but that's unconfirmed. Either way, ten feet is ten feet, and it would behoove any coach willing to take her on to have patience with her transition to the left pin. Athleticism and hops? All with a solid volleyball IQ? Works for me.
