With MEQ in the rearview, we finally have time to unpack the notes app in my phone. Here are six athletes that stole the spotlight on Saturday, and some under-the-radar dandies that should earn commitments sooner rather than later.    With length for days and transition speed that looks quite smooth, Celeste is a taller-than-you-think middle that excels with setters that understand how to set her high enough. Those long limbs, coupled with a high attack touch, allow her the opportunity to go over slower blocks regularly. On defense, Miss Wiegman closes on both pins equally well, and was an x-factor for making balls behind her easier to dig because of her ability to slow attacks down.     The state leader in hitting percentage this past fall, Abbie is a strong, fluid and springy middle that can attack both in front of and behind the setter at will. Her quick transitional approach, whip of an arm swing and heavy contact on the ball looks every bit the part of a D1 middle. I'd love to see Abbie play on a team with taller pin blockers, as she'd have MANY more block assists in her stat line—-her long strides to close from pin to pin is the quickest I've seen in her class.     If you want a prototypical Boiler Juniors libero, look no futher than Lydia. In on every coverage ball, able to pass half the court in serve receive and a read-and-react queen, Miss Weaver is a coach on the floor; constantly directing her fellow floormates to where they should be and adjusting as necessary. What REALLY caught my eye about her was her stinger of a serve—-tough to pass, and has enough pace on it that teams struggled to receive whenever she served.     When I finally got a chance to see her Nighthawks play, I was surprised to see her team start in rotation 6—-meaning Paislee was front right and ATTACKING to start the match. Upon further evaluation, she's a setter in the back row and a highly intelligent attacker from the front row. Her future is clearly in setting, but she looks every bit the part of a beach player with her command of every aspect of this game. Her high volleyball IQ and ability to do everything well is highly recruitable, and will suit her well come this summer.     Smart, swift and tough, Khloe was used as the primary attacker throughout the multiple matches she played on Saturday. One of the truest forms of the six-rotation outside that Indiana produces year-in and year-out, Miss Goodman will fit well with smaller schools looking for a plug-and-play starter as a freshman. Her volleyball IQ is through the roof; she knows exactly which swing type to use according to what the defense gives AND what the setter fed her.     Clearly one of the best passers in this class, Brooke's ability to pass a full two-thirds of the court in every serve receive situation is impressive—-and TOUGH. Often during their matches on Saturday, she had to step in front of many of her teammates to ensure a solid pass and keep her squad in-system. Reliable, tough, quick and exceptional at her craft, Miss Neale has risen her stock well enough that she might be the first pure passer receiving a commitment this summer.
